As far as I can see, if our local Debenhams does close the only place left for middle class men to buy clothing will be M&S, whereas there are at least 10 places where women are able to buy clothes. When ever a store closes in our high street, except for once, they have all been replaced by coffee shops or yuppy restaurants. Believe it or not we have 2 Waterstone book stops which are both highly profitable. | loganair | |
