Yep, I know what corporate event I would be advising to WL if I were Mac directors..

Mac has a low free float as well which might help.

On that basis (notwithstanding all other elements) you could argue that MAC is woefully undervalued at a share price of just 2p .....

Weardale and Alk the cheaper way in ?

Mac m cap <£2m with everything else !

The startup opening Britain’s first lithium mine in Cornwall has secured $67m (£53.6m) of investment led by the UK Infrastructure Bank, in a much-needed boost to efforts to extract the metal that is used for making vehicle batteries.
Cornish Lithium is to receive the funds from the Treasury-funded bank and other investors as part of a larger funding package of up to $210m (£168m).
The funding package is expected to speed up progress towards British mining of battery-grade lithium compounds, which are key to production of batteries for electric vehicles and renewable energy storage.

Still think to overtake Cornish lithium WL could use the Mac listing and spin off the remaining Mac investments to Mac holders via an inspecie dividend/distribution.

What was Cornish lithium last valuation?

I think there was a lot to start and plenty of offers, as per the interview Giles wants the owners to be the correct fit. I have no clue if or when someone will buy it but sure would be good when it sells.

Weardale valued at last funding 36m it has had 2 grants since then and produced lithium from the brines. So I would guess it will be valued higher going forward.

Is ALK about 9m mkt cap best bet for them is to take a decent stake in Weardale, maybe a potential liquidity event for MAC to sell the holdings. Pure guess work but a possibility.

It's possible, ALK are a world leading lithium engineering and technology company, who mainly set up lithium refineries processing of spodumene fines and tailings - a major new source of lithium feedstock. They're Australian and Australia is the world's largest producer of lithium however many mines are suffering significant losses during spodumene concentrate production with up to 45% of the lithium contained being lost to tailingsSo I guess the answer is yes but teaming up with WL as a supplier/feeder to the refinery they're building looks to be the first avenue
