Good spot G100. Thanks for sharing.

Bearing in mind there appears to be a news drought at MAC I'd have expected they'd have fallen over themselves to issue an RNS? Strange

Mind you MAC did forewarn folks in their statement 'Significant progress continues to be made with the lithium extraction business, Weardale Lithium Ltd ("Weardale"), and our pipeline of new and increasingly diversified projects remains robust.'

The rest of the RNSInnovate UK is the UK's national innovation agency. It drives productivity and economic growth by supporting businesses to develop and realise the potential of new ideas. The funding provided under the Launchpad: Net Zero, CR&D Tees Valley, R2 competition supports outstanding innovation projects that grow activities in the Net Zero innovation cluster centred on Tees Valley and supports the Government's goals in the Levelling Up White Paper . Through collaborative research and development, TVL and WL are building upon the Memorandum of Understanding signed last year to evaluate the potential synergies of both producing and refining lithium in the North East of England. The project is specifically concerned with novel methods for the production and refinement of lithium extracted from geothermal brine resources in the context of developing an integrated and robust route from 'borehole to battery', all within the North-East region. The funding will advance feasibility studies and scale-up activities to further a battery-supply chain industrial hub and include the evaluation of the potential for WL to supply lithium to TVL for refining.

now - that helps ...not

it looks like low to no interest to me - saying such a thing /inviting buyers/ and nothing happening after 4 or so months

15m for an institution /culture heritage/ is not a lot of money. a trophy asset

i looked at the presentation video .... f2f enables removal of the copper wire from insulation with a liquid and pull on the distance of up to 100m in urban areas predominantely ... for the optics to be put in...

strange that they just pull and leave the rest of what has to be done /insert/ to someone else. makes no sense to me. it is a simple operation. i see it done all the time in my city.

but if you say so ... it must be true...

but the main point remains imho
