12/5/2006 13:48 | If we see an ADDITIONAL 2.8m show up, then > 90%, announcements will flow (wonder how RAB will figure in the OXS/MKD frame ? !) | ![]() giant steps
12/5/2006 13:34 | I am expecting the same GS | polanski
12/5/2006 13:04 | It feels like the OXS share price is suppressed while MKD deal ongoing. I expect once the main announcement for MKD is made all the wheels will turn ! | ![]() giant steps
12/5/2006 12:53 | I guess with the trades direct to Oxus it has no affect on the actual market demand via MM's - so no need for price to rise to attract sellers. | ![]() dixi
12/5/2006 12:45 | the confusing part imo is that for a company with just 15million shares anyone buying 1.5 million should have sent the share price upwards. I suppose if the next buy for a 5 shares comes in, this will send the share price up 10p...lol | ![]() cezary
12/5/2006 12:43 | dixi - the muddle is to disguise and confuse ! Perhaps the Khandiza deal will be announced, OXS offer goes 1:1 and shares re-rate accordingly, just to get MKD share price moving ! ( always in OXS interest to find a way to unlock value, their doing it but very few can see ) | ![]() giant steps
12/5/2006 12:35 | Ho Hum - never works out as you'd hope. OXS for me started as a cracking investment - then we got the MKD divi as bonus too - looked very bright indeed for a while. Now such a muddle - all feels a bit de-railed right now. | ![]() dixi
12/5/2006 12:24 | I think OXUS (or someone on their behalf) must be buying in the market now Trade just published 1,475,001 @ 26p ! Guess they will soon be past 90%, notification to all and EGM to wind up Shame a few more strong hands didn't wait to force a better deal | ![]() giant steps
12/5/2006 10:25 | I hope the last to convert force MKD to make a better offer !! (good for all of us) Must be some value in MKD if OXS prepared to dilute by further £0.8m | ![]() giant steps
12/5/2006 10:23 | yes, that's correct GS except that I think I will be left with two share in MKD as not divisible by 3. LOL | tee man
12/5/2006 10:18 | tee man - is that you fully converted (re tranche No. 3) ? | ![]() giant steps

12/5/2006 10:00 | I guess you could put me down as converted now! see OXS RNS | tee man

11/5/2006 21:41 | cee man - i think the interest in MKD is very clear, i'm stil adding OXS looks poised to advance so should pull MKD thru' (imo) | ![]() giant steps
11/5/2006 21:12 | but someone likes to buy lots today cee | cee man
11/5/2006 13:51 | Thanks for that on GGG, Cezary. Yes, the resource value of MKD as an indicator of the value to be unlocked is a red herring. It's the willingness on the part of the U. Govt. to let us unlock that value that is relevant to valuing MKD correctly? None of that was said explicitly in any of the MKD reports? The statement "MKD has reached agreement in principle with its Uzbek partner, Goscomgeology, on the project's Joint Venture legal and financial documentation" read in my mind as there were no big disagreements on how the cash flows were to be shared, and who the parties were. The reported cabinet decree to cut the Koreans into Khandiza would seem to contradict this. | ![]() nobull
11/5/2006 12:11 | Ok...but there are other companies on the block which look more interesting such as 'Central China Goldfields' which have just released an rns about another commodity partnership now in copper, resource value about $6b. Mkd chart looks like a H&S formed., so might see an upturn in share price or continuing downside. | ![]() cezary
11/5/2006 11:15 | Cezary - just interested to see how folk are playing MKD/OXS, thanks | ![]() giant steps
11/5/2006 11:02 | gs...no!...still holding | ![]() cezary
11/5/2006 10:44 | Cezary, if the Koreans want to invest in Khandiza, all they need to do is buy the exclusive right to negotiate with the Uzbek Govt. off MKD. I wouldn't mind if Mr Trew sold it to them at 50% of NPV (using a long term zinc price of 2000$ a tonne, and a discount rate of 9%), and added say another 10m quid for the exploration upside. That will do me fine. What is the exclusive right to negotiate the development of Khandiza worth if the Uzbek Govt. is entitled to insist the return on Khandiza is zero as a condition of JV approval? The truth perhaps is it is only worth the present value of the cash flows the Uzbeks will allow us to have, and if they don't like our Govt., and they don't like the BBC (perhaps you noted the outbursts of anger at the BBC in uzreport.com over the weekend) they perhaps are not going to allow us to have much of a return? The Koreans do not broadcast in Uzbek(?) into Uzbekistan, and they don't have politicians like Jack Straw who feel the need to demonstrate they are nice people to vote for by saying he is against torture (I've never met anybody who is for torture, have you?). All my doubts about the Board's optimism in unlocking value from Khandiza are starting to re-emerge. | ![]() nobull
11/5/2006 10:37 | Cezary, i assume (from #2259) you are still reducing or fully sold up now. Correct ? | ![]() giant steps |
