I can't get my head around this share anymore. It is beyond difficult to read and, because of the lack of real news and what feels like genuine statements at formal reporting times, the only people in the know are our two main shareholders. 8p as of now and a run of trades bringing the price down. No comment on AB's intention and it remains an investment for JM & AB to treat as what appears to be their own cash cow.

Does anyone think we will get to last year’s eps?
I have a slight fall ( Brexit worries ) flagged at half time.
So 1.7 eps fully diluted my guess.
Hopefully current year will be2 p
So 5 x historic and 4 current year.
WAy too cheap and a dividend soon?

Well, around a couple of weeks now for the Final Results. Not much interest in this stock but it does occasionally come in fits and bursts.

Maybe the finals will attract the attention of the market and at close to historic lows, it could do some kind of re rate up. Needs something, This AB affair, though gone quiet isn't helping matters, though operationally it has no significance.

Savings rate upped at the bank. Doubt its competition driven which means they have plans for even more growth with the cash.

Can they pay one till they have sorted out the negative balance sheet re old losses?

It however cannot be far away and I know like you it will help.

Jim needs to start to deliver on the promise top create shareholder wealth.

The Non-EXC directors must keep pushing him.

ps I agree re record results. EPS 2p fully diluted?

Looks like a recovery starting ahead of what is expected to be record results, unless some corporate activity is brewing ahead of that. A dividend would make this much more liquid and popular with institutional funds I reckon.

I fear that unless you have as much as Jim you would very much be a second rate holder.
Remember the Doctor is a pal of Jims.

I am guessing the biggest hurdle is the strike price.

It's difficult to know why a buyers not been found. Some kind of update might attract smaller buyers but a new director shareholder looks the best option. Maybe you Tiger.

Another record year for MANX about to close.

Just need the directors to sort this mess with AB and the share price will respond.

I think the MM have got wind him wanting out.

Why would another investor pay a much higher price than current market price?

I would be buying a million or two in the market

I also topped up recently. I've held this stock for while now and can never understand why we get such sharp drops in share price when the banks financials keep improving YOY. Anyway I always top slice once the share price peaks again.

Shareholder value at twice the market cap in real assets
Price is crazy but clearly the AB issue causing the fall.
Brave investors stand to double or treble the value very quickly
I am in for more tomorrow

It’s crazy but no I don’t think it will de list
I expect dividends to start soon

Well its' falling again. Right I'm prepared to add at this level, because it's cheap, based on earnings but is there any risk that this gets taken private (delisted) eventually and then minority shareholders left with a pittance of a compulsory purchase.

It happened to me before many years ago with an offshore registered company. They were called Jetcam Int'l, if i remember correctly.

I wish I had something more optimistic to say but I've seen lots of companies delist and the excuse tends to be the market undervalues it and that there is hardly any interest and very few shares traded etc.

Lets start by the house broker doing a book building and getting some shares of his sold.

He will fail fit and proper and tbh its not good wehen he says "i own a bank in the IOM "
Which he does i have seen it.

Definitely not suggesting anything came from the bank.

I think the recent drop in value here (despite being very low volume) is likely because of the whole affair and the subsequent RNS of AB possibly selling his stake.

It doesn't look much better for the wider market either, anyway. It's all very frustrating.

Pretty sure its not come from the bank.

They ( Jim) are pretty straight guys.

The sooner we can get the shares AB has placed the better.
5% is about 400k at todays price which is half what it should be once this mess is sorted.
A dividend would help and we must be pretty close to getting one

Newsnight last night, investigating the brexit leave funding controversy. They got nowhere and it didn't look good, but something fishy about it all. Not sure how or if this might reflect on MFX but I didn't like what I saw.
