22/3/2024 08:34 | Throwing my two pennyworth in. My average is 17p. When I recently invested I had a short term target of 30p. Wouldn't surprise me to see us hit that within the next couple of weeks. I have a long term target of 60/80p. I plan to hold unless something materially changes. If not I see no reason for selling | sooty snipes
22/3/2024 07:34 | Smithie I doubt I could hit the dart board these days, more likely stab my foot if I tried playing.😂 I hope you both reach your targets as you obviously have both made substantial investments in this but if it were not for traders buying a few thousand pounds worth and taking profits or losses, there would be very little interest and movement in share prices, except on results and dividends. So, no knocking those of us that nick a few quid here and there. Best of luck but CT if you’re target is just 26/27 the upside from 23/24 was very limited and fraught with risks that bigger holders like yourself would suddenly reduce, taking it back to others entry points and leaving them either taking small losses or locking themselves in till the next rise. | clocktower
21/3/2024 22:45 | Thanks for that. I keep saying it but cap of 100 m based on 10 m profits by 26/27 remains my target. | castleford tiger
21/3/2024 20:54 | Unfortunately Wednesdays 18.4p open left a gap at Tuesdays 18p high. The gap will eventually need to be filled. I was holding for anticipated news today but with no RNS and the share price looking a bit peaky I took some off the table and sold 20k first thing @24.11 which i hope to buy back either on good news or a fall back to fill the gap. MFX - A rare find on AIM IMO, NIA, DYOR, GLA, & ATJ PS - I enjoy the Smithie & CT bedtime reading. | cocorico2009
21/3/2024 18:24 | Probably spike back up before Tuesday | castleford tiger

21/3/2024 16:15 | .... It was probably the biggest easiest predictable % gain for 2024.... ...& CT & myself posting we were buying , or had been...& the fairly big amounts of shares we had added ...& a director invested £98k in shares in Dec. 2023 ...and you just watched it all happening from the sidelines !....(15.3p to 25p to buy, big %) Bloom'in Eck ! ...& despite following this message board you didn't take part... ....sorry my friend but perhaps think about take up cricket or darts instead of shares ! | smithie6
21/3/2024 15:40 | LOL S - As you know always happy to take small profits here and there, now and again but I wish you luck. No big share investments for me yet, still mainly cash. | clocktower
21/3/2024 14:21 | These bank shares are all up ~3% so far today. Banks are popular today. Lloyds Natwest Std chartered Bank of Ireland & surely various others & Shares in Santander & BBVA, international banks, have been doing well this week. | smithie6
21/3/2024 14:15 | ..is that the same bird you put in the oven or a different one ! | smithie6
21/3/2024 13:51 | Maybe the dreaded Friday but others have also taken the bird in hand that was there for the plucking. Goode Luck CT & S. :-) | clocktower
21/3/2024 13:20 | trust me pal its Tuesday tiger | castleford tiger
21/3/2024 13:14 | Btw Results issued in 2021 were on a Wednesday, 10th March. So, personally I think the results might be issued on any day of the week, but on a Monday is probably less likely since directors don't like to work on weekends! | smithie6
21/3/2024 12:44 | Investors taking profits ahead of results | lennonsalive
21/3/2024 12:11 | very thin market so rapid movements. good buying day | castleford tiger
21/3/2024 11:31 | sharp up's and sharp down's. | stewy_18
21/3/2024 07:43 | Other companies seem to manage it. It is about taking investor relations seriously | stewy_18
21/3/2024 07:39 | I agree it’s not difficult but so many variables | castleford tiger
21/3/2024 07:22 | 07:20 UK & no results from MFX, so I'm assuming that no results today. :-( Seems strange that MFX don't inform the market in advance of the day for the annual results, most/many companies give a date. | smithie6
21/3/2024 07:14 | Looking like Tuesday | castleford tiger
21/3/2024 06:55 | UK time, since at 07:45 CET Investegate.co.uk workers are busy finishing off their breakfasts ! ....RNSs for UK listed companies get published, I think from 08:00:00 onwards UK time. ---- I hope it's today, since getting cramp with crossed fingers for so long !! | smithie6
20/3/2024 22:20 | Cet? Or U.K. time | castleford tiger
20/3/2024 22:00 | ....msg board chat at 07:45 tomorrow morning if the results are out ? | smithie6
20/3/2024 19:11 | Btw Reminder when looking at the results, when they come out Look at the PAT & the EPS data, which I think have to correspond to the attributable profit, which includes the 50.1% that lse:MFX owns in PA ltd, & should/will exclude the profit from the 49.9% of PA Ltd that lse:mfx doesn't yet own. (Mfx has an option to buy the 49.9% of PA Ltd not yet owned). | smithie6 |
