Hi Ssea, I'm in on AGT too. Got in last week at 7.12 . I am very warey of MBF, but like a fool, I still hold, on hopes of good news this coming week at the EGM. Honestly the IMAX cinema's sounds like an idea plucked out of thin air, and about as clever as their original wireless networking scheme which never took off.

What keeps me attracted is the BRONFFMAN factor (have i spelt that right) Not the CRAZY antics going on in this news group, nor, the EGM coming up, nor the fact that all MBF is , is a cash shell... but that the 36th richest man in the world is involved, which gives me a little security that it will not go down the pan quite so soon.

Who knows.. IMAX in the states and Japan might be a hit for MBF... wait and see!

No to the EGM.i am very much a newbee when it comes to buying my shares,have tended to buy when a share nosedives cause of bad news E.G. CORUS AGT XEN hoping for a rebound still holding XEN AGT, but learning new ways all the time, so as things stand i read other peoples research.would like to think that MBF is more than just a punt ?.

Decided after reading this thread and one other to buy 50k @ .27,considering buying another 100k on monday, a very small amount of cash invested compared to some of you guys.Some past experiences of buying large number of shares at very small shares prices has been for the company to announce a share split where i've ended up with a silly amount of shares left,hope this does'nt happen with these.

Anything happening? Seems like a lot of buys (relatively) today but no move. Am thinking of averaging down but wonder what it takes for these mms to budge. Maybe they are just waiting like the rest of us.

I recall when I used to own CAB
and BGP...there was always the Chairman
available to speak too.

They never used to belittle their shareholders
and made an effort to always call back.

I guess its put your money
where your mouth is and dump.

I may just take this idea if I get no response.

Can you just confirm where and when this AGM is taking place
as I would like to attend.

Over the last couple of days I have been trying to
contact MBF however unlike other Chairmans
hes too big to come to the phone.

Its a real shame..

Guy: I might see you at the EGM. I'm fairly busy with work at present but might try and make a space to get up there.
Interesting to see we are back to 0.21/0.22. Lovely tight spread and an opportunity for those who have the nuts to dip in and out as we move (upwards we hope).
