16/3/2018 07:43 | Attended the AGM and will happy to answer any questions I am able to. I might not see all the questions because I have some on filter though. The chairman said the takeover was not a subject that could be discussed because of listing rules and shareholders would have the chance to question the board at the general meeting when authority was being sought from the LMI shareholders. Most of the question time was taken up by social rights activists and the chairman answered their points with respect and with detail explanation of LMI position. The chairman said while 1 Q 18 production was not complete production was in line with 2 Q - 4 Q 17 and therefore much better than 1 Q 17 when production was not as expected. Should be no negative surprises. | deans
15/3/2018 19:23 | No change in plan. Just the drop in Sibayne share price and general industry fears | dealy

13/3/2018 15:54 | The assets alone are worth a multiple of the share price . Makes you wonder what the clowns who run this are thinking. Sell it all for at least twice today's price and move on | onedb1
13/3/2018 10:38 | Looking pretty depressed here. Sibayne stock also down considerably over last few weeks. | dealy

27/2/2018 12:09 | I have also lost six figures on thisSo rea | foxy22
27/2/2018 12:07 | Yes I am wondering tooRamaphosa owns 10 per cent of lmiAnd I think the pic is also a substantive shareholder. If lmi is cash flow positive would that scupper theDeal. Also when is shareholder meeting | foxy22
27/2/2018 11:41 | If, and it is a big if, LMI is cashflow positive. I also suspect that a new SA President may have thrown a spanner in the works of this deal. However I must state that I know nothing, or I would not have lost six figures on this share. | ravenna23
23/2/2018 18:26 | The company has not squandered the equity from the Nov 15 rights issue. Net cash post receipt of proceeds was about 100m GBP so similar to current levels. The problem is the future (high rand, low platinum price and the unions). Consolidation is the solution. The deal will go ahead | dealy
23/2/2018 13:03 | Unions still the problem here. Refuse to allow significant job cuts, always hoping for a high PMG prices to bale them out. After four rights issues raising over £1bn in recent years, they think the shareholders are there to subsidise the bloated workforce. The money soon goes, remember the 'rescue' rights issue of 2 years ago that raised $400m. According to todays Telegraph net cash has slipped to £63m. Numbers employed are more than double those of RRS, which is of comparable size. LMI should budget for a lower PMG prices. | careful
23/2/2018 13:00 | Administrator won't accept sib shares and there will be no synergy effects | dealy
23/2/2018 12:53 | U may be right | foxy22
23/2/2018 12:47 | Why buy now when you can pick up the mines from the administrator in a couple of months? | ravenna23
23/2/2018 12:32 | If u look at news section u see banks discosing short positions increase | foxy22
23/2/2018 12:29 | Sibanye has cut its divAnd note that fronnemann has offered sibanye shareholders 4 further shares for every one they own | foxy22
23/2/2018 12:28 | Careful i think sibanye is overextended and wants to get out of the dealNote share price dropping further | foxy22
23/2/2018 10:25 | Hence why there is a floor to this price . At this level LMI can call the deal off as the deal now under values the assets . Long time to go yet too . So the correlation Lmi vs SGL is only more useful if SGL moves up . Could be a very speculative buy here | onedb1
23/2/2018 10:02 | Likewise deal will be off from Lonmin's shareholders point of view if platinum rises in the next 6 months or we get a higher offer. Sibanye have stated that they don't want to increase debt but they said that if the deal doesn't go through they will buy assets off Lonmin. That would increase their debt by an extra $350m+. | 124asd
23/2/2018 09:45 | deal off unless LMI become cash flow positive. ....todays daily telegraph. | careful
22/2/2018 10:55 | Hope fronnerman has not extended himself too muchAnd the rand doesn't continue strengtheningThat would not bode well for lmi | foxy22 |
