31/1/2018 13:06 | Maybe the fear rhat the company wont survive if the deal gets voted down | dealy
31/1/2018 13:00 | Still the conversion price is at 80p today . Highly discounted at 71 . I don't see precious metals as an issue . So it's probably over reacting | onedb1
31/1/2018 12:40 | Horror show. Now Sibayne is getting clobbered | dealy
23/1/2018 15:40 | Foxy the deal is good as you get shares in SGL . At current price it's at a discount as the conversion is at 89p It's clear that the merger is seen by SGL as a way of tapping into the growth of palladium and platinum growth . They should be able to reduce costs and make the merger successful . As LMI shareholders are now effectively going to become SGL ones . Buying LMI at 82p today gives a 7p discount into the new co . I don't care about LMI at this stage but what it will be converted to . Especially as gold is doing well too and has encouraging technicals too . All IMO . But buying anything at a discount is the name of the game . | onedb1
23/1/2018 10:02 | sold out of here a while back. but the results we had all been waiting for showed a loss of $1.2bn, although $1bn of that was an impairment by writing down the value of its mines. No wonder they delayed. What suckers investors were to participate in 4 rights issues. Never a chance of success. Even higher pmg prices would have meant higher wages, bonuses, benefits. You wonder when this takeover was originally planned. | careful
22/1/2018 07:28 | Rns x2!! 🤡✌A | glenkaz
20/1/2018 13:32 | Good point Mike. Although Palladium is surely profitable. In this environment Lonmin shareholders will surely approve the Sibayne offer. Sibayne shareholders have little to lose and much to gain primarily from the effects of consolidation | dealy
18/1/2018 17:50 | Dealy, check your calculations. Cost of production plus capital expenditure is about 13500 Rand per ounce. Price of PT is 12200 rand per ounce. Its obvious Lonmin is losing money at this price. | mikemaxm
18/1/2018 14:47 | I think it's more important that pgm prices stay high because they can build up some cash over the next months. They probably don't need such high facilities in that case so they can get reduced facilities bases on the lower net tangible worth calculation | dealy
18/1/2018 12:15 | Market can't seem to decide if the new waiver is good or bad news. | r72
15/1/2018 23:02 | And what about lmi shareholders? | foxy22
15/1/2018 12:06 | Conversion at 95p ( just over ) as SGL is at 1672 and flying . Palladium flying again and Platinum close to $1000 ! LMI should be at least at 95 and I suspect it will pass 100p . What a deal this is for SGL | onedb1
15/1/2018 09:13 | Company generating cash at current metal prices. All helps in the negotiations. | dealy
12/1/2018 14:00 | Does anyone know what deal would worth now in terms of lmi sp | foxy22
12/1/2018 13:58 | 91.45 plattinum recovering and sibanye going up | foxy22
11/1/2018 11:32 | Master90.00 now whereto u think | foxy22
11/1/2018 11:18 | BREAKOUT as it reaches 90p | master rsi
11/1/2018 10:30 | Is there a trading update due soon? | r72
09/1/2018 12:56 | Top of the leaderboardBreaking out!!! | foxy22
09/1/2018 12:39 | It looks like it wants to BREAK OUT from the those highs lately | master rsi
08/1/2018 08:56 | Conversion at 94/95 . Price is at a discount . Surprised that it's so wide. But easy opportunity here now | onedb1
05/1/2018 10:59 | why? re - spread The volume is is low so till the day is well advance the spread will be large re - 0.25/0.05p new rules since new year on many small stock on the order book, where one can place orders at 0.05p price instead of the old 0.25p | master rsi
05/1/2018 10:30 | Why is the spread so wide at the moment? And is there any reason as to why the share price is moving by 0.05p at a time now? Prior to this week, it would only move up or down by 0.25p. | r72
05/1/2018 10:16 | A large spike to 88.475p earlier, holding well now and looking to go there again, though there are no "AT"s to show it on the chart spread bid 87.30 Ask: 87.80 Change: 1.525 (+1.77%) | master rsi
03/1/2018 07:43 | But then again even without a deal lonmin has at least 80p of value soon they will have to release fy results and the tangible net worth and related financial facilities consequences | dealy |
