Im not selling yet. These are at a all time low and the commodity miners have been on a tear.Yesterday's announcement should have pushed this up by this much on its own. The bid is way too cheap. Big holders are not going to accept this pitifully offer. I can see £2

Can anyone give me a sensible answer on Takeover Rules in this situation where PIC are a blocking shareholder at 30% shareholder. In other words, I'm pretty sure they can block the deal outright, agree the deal or come back with their own bid as 30% shareholder. Has therefore Lonmin shafted (no pun intended) PIC who bought up to 29.99% two years ago and not played their "we are a majority shareholder, we want two board seats"

Yes with an improving platinum price...easy this sibanye bought Stillwater mining in us at top dollar...a lot more than they are going to pay for lonmin....
