01/12/2017 19:56 | All the shares are treated the same. Even if they are listed in another country you still own them. We just need some news. Has been such a rotten last 4 weeks | dealy
01/12/2017 18:52 | Interesting info Elvis. I guess UK investors aren't much use to them now anyway, another RI not being possible. It would make sense to get rid of us. GL bouleversee, I know you have suffered with this lot for a long time now. | ltcm1
01/12/2017 13:01 | As at PFC which has moved up and down sideways for months now, grossly undervalued imo but wdik. | bouleversee
01/12/2017 12:06 | Some people are just day trading is .... pumping and dumping | mj19
30/11/2017 16:46 | A wonderful chance to buy more cheaply! | mrjellyfish
30/11/2017 16:19 | A leak or end of month window dressing by hedge funds? | dealy
29/11/2017 21:06 | Careful, remember two years ago, about two weeks before the rights issue vote, PIC put out a statement of 'we will save Lonmin' and they were the party that had the sub-underwriting agreement. Now their public words are 'we want two seats on the board, maybe Lonmin will ask for new cash (to get the bankers and their covenant off their back) and management are not doing their job'. In other words, time for them to put their cosy men in place, replace the chairman, even Big Ben, and get their toasties warm to buy out Lonmin shareholders at a later date. After all PIC are one shareholder, the largest and the anchor shareholder but they have to treat all shareholders equally. | elvisrocks
29/11/2017 19:52 | Elvis, edit. Thanks for the above. long term it could be wise to hold on. Not worth baling out now. | careful
29/11/2017 19:38 | PIC unlikely to put in new money in exchange for 2 seats on the board. It may demand more shares, or a huge coupon. There would almost be dilution of existing shareholders. But London listing rules may tie their hands. Interesting times. The value of LMI at £176m is very low now. We must hear from the company soon. As things stand it is the board that are in control not PIC. However the largest shareholder has significant power. They could buy us out for about £100m, doubling their curren (underwater)t investment. | careful
29/11/2017 19:36 | This will rise,looking forward to it soon.Gla | mrjellyfish
29/11/2017 19:22 | What a dog of a share Easiest short around | pjm1162
29/11/2017 19:21 | Delayed for a huge reason. 26 p on route Poor poor lmi Could go bust imo | pjm1162
29/11/2017 17:45 | All up in the air at mo,but a good report, will see this fly(as long as its soon)Happy to hold,GLA | mrjellyfish
29/11/2017 16:05 | LMI has demanded so much attention over the last 2-3 years. I was massively down last time but finished up. This share can move 10% in a single day in either direction. Drives you nuts. | careful
29/11/2017 14:51 | 50's inboundLoving it | pjm1162
29/11/2017 13:41 | Careful do you remember Elvis??? The accountant who 'booked' LMI at a billion??? I see he don't post no more. I think we did that net assets argument to death two years ago. Come in Red Baron. The only poster here who really understood it all. I remember he bought in the 30's after the last RI, that was a crazy time. Red Baron knows what he is doing. I like your saying about bad numbers, it's a new one on me. Is there any hope of 'jam tomorrow' to get us in the buying mood again??? | ltcm1
29/11/2017 13:21 | I agree with careful. Over reaction | dealy
29/11/2017 12:41 | ...but with no-one buying it is a bad sign. insiders must know the situation and are not buying. This is priced to fail, valued at £180m less that two years after a rights issue that raised almost £300m in cash. | careful
29/11/2017 12:33 | Market cap just £180m assets can be meaningless for miners, but net assets of over £1bn. very low debt. are things so bad. palladium over $1017/oz. plat $955/oz. This could be a viable business. Hoping Lonmin's potential violation of asset covenants is a minor issue. | careful
29/11/2017 11:58 | bad numbers take longer to add up they say. what a brave contrarian investor to dive in today. | careful
29/11/2017 08:36 | This is just getting ridiculous | dealy
22/11/2017 07:25 | Nearly 3 weeks since the last update | dealy |
