TSCO also on my watchlist. Dont forget they have a market leading position in consumer spending data through their Clubcard. Looks set to contribute significantly to future revenues..

Just purchased my 2nd new position after receiving my Takeover funds from CTO.

Another company thats been on my watchlist for years. TSCO.

I like the way they are selling off assets like Tesco bank and concentrating on retail. Plus they continue too have a massive share buyback program...

Too many folks are just looking for the perfect company, and any slight hick up they sell up, and take a big loss..

He talks about all the sectors he won't invest in because he believes they make poor investments but i competely disagree with him on this.

Money and fortunes are made in all sectors of the economy. Take the people businesses for instance marketing and recruitment. M&C Saatchi is a great company. Is he saying that the Saatchi brothers are not super rich?

One of the dragons from dragons den James Caan made his fortune in recruitment. I have invested in recruitment companies before and mulit-bagged my money in them and i've had the odd takeover too..

Both the marketing and recruitment sectors have generated (and continues to generate) many a millionaire..

I think the questions should be - what exactly is a "winner" and how do you define a "winner"?

Sadly 99.9% of investors believe that a winner is something you buy and it immediately goes up a lot in price, then you sell it..

Whereas i believe a winner is a company that has a proven track record and has been around a very long time like in TSCO for example that is over 100 yrs old. In some years the share price will fall in these great companies but held over very long periods of time they will only make you money..
