Watched Michael palin in Nigeria, when I got back from the football match. Palin reckons the capital will be the most populated in the world in 30 years, and Nigeria will have the third biggest population. Lots of potential for PZC.

But Nigeria looks bloody rough, not on my list to visit..

My first takeover of the year CTO.

But the bad news for me, its one of 3 companies I hold outside a ISA or sipp. So lots of tax to pay .
Especially now its only 3k allowance..

That needs to be part of the negotiations with the Russians, it needs to be totally independent officials coordinating it. If we just let things continue thousands of innocent civiians will continue too die, over the next decade...

I'm afraid we have a humanity/morality issue here. Imagine some serial murderer enters your house with a knife, and takes claim to your second bedroom, and your utility room and they killed your friend who was staying in the second bedroom in the process. They're trying to take the Kitchen and the dining room, but you are fending them off. Are you just going to negotiate and let them stay in the two rooms they have captured?

Over my dead body, would probably be my real answer. I'd consider them a permanent threat to my life, and would only feel comfortable when they are completely gone.

There will always be afew investors that constantly sell out when we get a nasty global event. The thing is your never going to get perfect investing conditions, so these nervous investors will be constantly buying and selling every few months.your never going to make much money, when your constantly in and out the market..

I don't think Iran and Israel have the appetite for this to escalate. Israel shouldn't of bombed that embassy, and Iran were forced into a face saving exercise.

Ukraine need to start negotiating, they can't expect to be propped up for years by the west. Maybe let Donbas region have an independent vote, stay part of Ukraine, Be part of Russia, are be totally independent. The vote will need to be conducted by neutral officials from other countries. Let the Donbas people have a say for their future..

Otherwise it will just ramble of for 10 years plus...

All i fear is sadly coming true with a widening of the war in the Middle east. It was thus always going to be so. Ukraine also struggling it seems. They are pulling further back and losing land to the Russians.

After this weekends attack on Israel i thought we would see plenty of volatility today but US futures are currently slightly up and Oil, Gold are quiet..

Very interesting podcast. Mark is right why are the directors flying business class when they are losing money... and giving charity donations, shouldn't happen unless its beneficial for tax reasons...
