CNC large contract win.

TATE tie-up with the US company CP Kelco. Will be some dillution initially as many more shares are issued but in the longer term should create a bigger and better combined company.

I noticed that meeting this morning when i logged-in to my account. It's great to see ftse100 companies start to embrace this means of communication to it's shareholders instead of courting institutions and fund managers all the time..

Margherira Della valle the new ceo of Vodafone is doing what AMANDA did at Aviva selling off the unwanted business. Why does it take a female CE0 to manage to sort things out, alot of male CEOs have been totally useless.

Have have quite afew female CE0s now and they are all excellent..

Dividends for me are very important. I am in a good position now where they not only pay my living expenses but i also have some left over to either re-invest or buy a small new holding..

That means i don't have to touch my capital at all and instead am able to build positions and add to my holdings as opposed to having to sell bits off.

Just finished an AGM InvestorMeet with MPE. I wish all companies would do more hybrid AGM's for those who want to attend or online..

The company is so old school. Oak pannelled walls with trophies around the room. It's 2024 but could easily be 1924..

Many of the investors have held for decades and are predominantely older with many in their 80's and some 90's. Everyone known on first name terms. Even the Indonesian directors where there plus the Indonesian major shareholders. This company really does go over and above for shareholder friendliness and appreciates all it's shareholders immensely.

Good point about the ANP share count..

LGEN smacked down after their capital markets day statement from the new CEO yesterday. Back down on planet earth the new CEO's strategy will be safe and steady will make the group bigger and mightier over the next three or four years, so why are the shares down..

It's times like this is wish i had some spare cash to top-up..

Dividend yield well over 9% and growing..

I don't get why some folks bang on about the 200 day moving average and base their investment case on that.

Too me these people should be classed as long term traders not investors, when you make an investment case just on a wiggly line, you have got to be a trader...

Missed that ANP RNS from yesterday evening saying that Lord Lee had gone over 3%. Only he was buying in August last year..

Holds 784,700 shares, thats over £2.3m...

Don't think he's too bothered about what the chart looks like or whether he can trade in and out if the market goes down a smidge like some..
