11/10/2014 11:33 | By: SEM Contributor on October 9, 2014. ShareTweet+ 1Mail Freetown- (07 October 2014) – London Mining and Dawnus (SL) Limited are pleased to announce the commitment of construction services, manpower and equipment to support the the International Medical Corps (IMC) in constructing a 130-bed Ebola Treatment Centre (ETC) at Rogbalan Village near Lunsar, in the Port Loko District. To help the IMC in the expedient completion of the Centre, London Mining and Dawnus have committed critical resources to the project. London Mining has assigned a surveyor to assist with the construction and provided fuel, while Dawnus provided earthmoving equipment to clear the 15-acre land allocated for the facility. Discussions are ongoing with IMC regarding the provision of continued services, at cost, for the construction of the Centre including concrete foundations, perimeter security and water borehole installations. Dawnus and London Mining are also working with the International Security Advisory Team (ISAT) in Sierra Leone (formerly IMATT), DFID and the British Army contingents currently deploying to assist in the fight against the Ebola Virus Disease (EVD). London Mining’s Managing Director Dan Desjardins, said, “We are part of this community and this nation. A strengthened healthcare system is essential for safeguarding the health of our employees and our host communities. We believe it is our duty to provide what help we can to stem the spread of this disease.” Mike Condon, the Dawnus Director of Operations, said, “We are assisting where we can in the fight against this terrible disease, and at the same time we remain committed to national and international efforts. I am very aware that our greatest contribution to the people of Sierra Leone is to maintain this partnership of support and continue to operate in a safe and healthy environment.” The treatment centre which is scheduled to be functional late this month is funded by the U.S. and Irish Governments and would be operated by IMC. - See more at: | h2owater

I was only here to post because it has happened to me before so I know exactly how it feels. All the best & I always tell myself health over wealth always, BUT at the time that does not help. Be lucky to all & hope your all ok. | chesty1
