Agreed dwhite which is why I was only betting small amounts. I think the rise was the triumph of hope over experience, coupled with the absence of any significant remaining II sellers. There may have been some short interests who needed to close, helping to fuel the rise, and the off site chatter that a deal was close added more fuel. very sorry for anyone who was caught at the suspension. There is still a vague hope that it will come back but that would need a 3rd party to enter the arena and I am doubtful.

All told I lost about £20k here which with hindsight I could have made back and more if I'd gone all in under a penny and traded the rise up to 5p. Anyone who did that and got out in time will have played it brilliantly but I don't see anyone claiming that.

Well well chaps. I see one guy wisely sold his last batch at 2.30 today well done.
As I said I got out the other day , for a fair gain, over ten K is fine by me, but not what I'd haver made at say 4p. But it could have been suspended by then or it could have been suspended at a penny the other day, - thats the gamble aspect too.
I am sorry for those who are now stuck in limbo during suspension, I know a few of you are sitting on several thousand £ paper profits, and some shorts here on very large paper losses. but will you even see one penny - we simply do not know.

Poor Bad robot too, though he said lies about my trades.I suspect he got well shafted here. Will see you on another thread again, BR. You just keep ramping your fat belly, and enjoy your cheap cider tonight. I called Nigel Farrage too, he's arranged to send you back to Somalia or wherever it was.

newzealander... I think WRN are a different kettle of fish.. they were suspended not to "clarify the company's financial position" but "pending an announcement pursuant to Listing Rule 5.6"... Listing Rule 5.6 has to do with reverse takeovers, so I think the story is different from LOND.

Kudos to the day traders of insolvent companies, however the post in question
showed Hectorp put in a buy order at 0.99p then bought at 0.69p. It collapsed
in the next hour to as low as 0.12-013 so not the greatest trade in the world.
A trade only made good by LOND electing not to suspend trading, which allowed
institutional investors to exit while the newspapers printed takeover rumours.

hi forwood... what I don't get is how this stock rallied since yesterday immediately after a fairly significant stockholder (Chase Nominees Ltd) dumped their holdings.
I think it should have been clear that this was a very risky trade since 8 Oct. Certainly profitable for some, disastrous for others but risky overall.
