20/7/2011 20:18 | Langbar .. ! | saturdaygirl
20/7/2011 19:27 | Oh dear - I see a similar pattern here. Directors pay themselves huge sums in salaries and nothing left for shareholders. At Langbar David Buchler paid rebel shareholders over 5 times the amount he paid people that were loyal to him. Reward the greedy - ignore the loyal. That seems to be his motto. Anyway - I can see no update so this case will be taken further over the next few days. It seems Nigel Smith was right all along. | loverat
14/7/2011 11:10 | we should have had the 2010 accounts by now !! and with them a chairmans report. Really concerned about the lack of news. | curt3
28/6/2011 17:19 | Napoleon I only have time to pop in here from time to time. I am shortly giving up the day job to focus on one or two ventures and devote more time to situations like these. To be honest I have no idea what is going on here at present. The new directors may be doing a good job. But who knows? In the absence of an update I can only work on the past record of the new boss. Little communication, paying himself large salaries and an unfair outcome in the Langbar settlement according to various sources. Such a contrast with the efforts and achievements of Keith Negal. His hard work will not be forgotten. These directors have alot to live up to. Where is the fighting talk and plain speaking honesty we were treated to with Keith and Dennis? Let's hope we are not disappointed again. And you are right - the situation at IPM reminds us that few investments are safe. A comparision with Simon Littlewood perhaps is appropriate and his loan to the 'Croatian Mafia'. However unlike Littlewood, IPM directors have managed to have transfered shareholders funds to a bunch of thieves openly and in the public gaze. | loverat
28/6/2011 14:49 | Hi Loverat, good to see someone is trying to do something here, seems like IPM will be going the same was as us and langbar! | napoleon111
23/6/2011 21:47 | You can tell your mate that we require an update by 30 June 2011. | loverat
23/6/2011 21:37 | If there is no update soon Buchler will be guest of honour on Bad Biz and Co.. We know already - he has rewarded rebel shareholders in Langbar to the detriment of those who stayed loyal. If it is true that he treats loyal shareholders as rubbish (and rewards the carpet baggers)then he should be dealt with contempt. Doug is his mate from Langbar days - and probably part of the reason he was appointed here. I sincerely hope this will not be a repeat of Langbar. | loverat
23/6/2011 21:10 | So where is our update? David Buchler rewards those who deserve nothing to rebels with six times the amount given to loyal shareholders. Doug - I hope you and Grahamite2's associations with Buchler do not have a detrimental effect on shareholders here. | loverat
18/6/2011 18:09 | Any update on this yet? I can't see any on the website. David Buchler hardly covered himself with glory at Langbar. He rewarded those shareholders who opted out by paying them six times as much as those who remained loyal.(according to one source) Is he going to screw LDC shareholders as well? | loverat
17/6/2011 11:10 | I'd be gratefull if someone can explain what's happening with LDC. Halifax sharedealing informs me via 'Corporate Actions'that these can no longer be held in my A/C and that a certificate may be issued. Is there any relevant info out there? | ardiebo
27/5/2011 10:35 | The issues have been so protracted, I had thought it was to be given a quiet funeral. Thanks for the posts. | gerri-c
27/5/2011 10:31 | Thank you Doug - fingers crossed - Ive 400k of these. | curt3
26/5/2011 23:22 | Curt3, I understand they have been to Singapore and had some initial discussions with Chens representatives. | dougcsv
26/5/2011 10:47 | just a wee wake up post, as the deathly silence is starting to freak me out!! Has anyone heard any news ?? Have our leaders been to China yet ?? etc etc. | curt3
11/5/2011 17:23 | dougcsv is his mate from Langbar days so he might be able to provide a shareholder update. | loverat
11/5/2011 17:18 | Indeed - I think an update is well overdue. Unfortunately David's communication skills could be improved I believe. And my impression of him in the Langbar episode is that he had a small cosy bunch of shareholders who he confided in but was not one for transparency and meaningful updates when dealing with all shareholders. | loverat
11/5/2011 14:15 | Surely we are entitled to some information on how things are going !! Previous reports indicated an asset value circa 10p that I for one would find acceptable to have done with it. | curt3
10/5/2011 22:40 | What worries me is that with Keith and Bailey gone this will be another Langbar. Silence for months, a tiny settlement and incompetance in sending the payments. I just hope I am wrong but history often repeats itself. | loverat
