S-Edge, thank you for that support.
In my view this company has been devalued because of miconceptions about its business, or at least a 'market valuation over-emphasis' on that factor.

The LOG share price has risen 25% in the last 3 months against a FTSE250 rise of just 8.4%. Why might that be? It fell too much over the election period and in my view is about 15% off where it should be now based on the information we have from the company - and I happen to think that will be recovered between now and 15 November or so..

Lastly, as a bolster to my argument I think that public sector leaders (and I worked for 30+ years with many) will realise they cannot compromise (too much) on their software capital and revenue expenditure during this time because their risk assessments and business continuity plans will highlight the danger of that approach. There will be an end to this and, sadly, the quickest and easiest way to achieve short/medium term public sector savings is almost always staff costs, which account for such a high proportion of budgets and can be done quickly without damage to the infrastructure.
All this in my view of course - but it's my money too!! Good luck.

That is what happens in a bubble. Reed and his bent board are no different to Fred Goodwin and his cronies when it comes to integrity, both fleeced the shareholders and got away scott free with millions.

I think Andy Green has turned Logica around and the share price will reflect this as the company gets through this recession. Let us hope the latest figures show times are getting better.

Good point about the Q3 statement on 3 November. It will provide an indication how well Logica is coping with the current government austerity measures.

Come on folks - I have been disappointed too but there is reasonable evidence of recovery now some of the post election anxiety around this co has been set aside. I think you will see this knock on to about 145 before 3Q results and then we will see for next year. Little point in looking back to £28, I think, that's not happening this side of Xmas!!

Yes, the share price went to £28 and Martin Reed came away with bonuses in the millions. What a change since those heady days.

We live in hope. LOG has never recovered from the dotcom boom and the antics of Martin Reed. The key to everything is the low level of profits and with a PE of 52, the shares are expensive.

I wish I could sound more cheerful but after many promises of better days, there is little to be cheerful about.

A0, it may not work but you have to try it. Delusions of grandeur is a mental illness and I think in your case will end up with you being sectioned.
