29/6/2009 15:13 | Its interesting that Madoff was using very old software and hardware, such as dot-matrix printers. This was because no one was allowed onto the 17th Floor of his HQ building. His fear was that if IT engineers were allowed to look at the software he was using, they may have detected evidence of the fraud. | selborne_edge
29/6/2009 13:54 | robwt, Don't know when I will or if I get back in. But 74 75 could be around the figure who knows. Little volume at the moment so reaching 90 doesn't look possible to me, not yet anyway. All I'll do is watch the grafs and spot an opertunity, with this or any other share. I'll let you Know! | a0502162
29/6/2009 13:45 | A0; What price are you going to get back in, 75p. I reckon they are now going to 90p by Wednesday, I look at the stars and Logica are now in the Omega Constellation. That means it is the right time. | robwt
29/6/2009 12:32 | selborne, nothing wrong with being optomistic, it's alot more fun than being pesimistic. ButI have learned the hard way, now I take a profit as close to the top as I dare and I have no loyalty to a company............o I like what I do, graphs are my key to an easy life................ Hard to do even after all this time...........but stick to it I do. It seems to work for me. so I'm happy. | a0502162
29/6/2009 12:20 | You are right of course and in very good company with the Rothchilds. I usually get Logica wrong but thats the trouble with being an optismist ! | selborne_edge
29/6/2009 12:04 | Nothing ever wrong with selling early............... The one idea about shares is to make a profit.......or it's a complete waste of time. | a0502162
29/6/2009 11:41 | A minor milestone; Logica at 80. I would say that you are selling a little early A0502162. However I expect I shall be eating humble-pie in a few days. The distinctive feature about our beloved company is that it invariably disapoints. | selborne_edge
29/6/2009 11:24 | Well that's enough profit for me.................. | a0502162
28/6/2009 13:22 | Selborne: Not only buying companies, but paying through the nose for them. With the backing of a management board full of morons Martin Reed raped Logica, they were able to do it because the Dotcom bubble created by City wideboys here and in the USA, allowed it. Reed and his useless management board lined their pockets and now sit back living off funds stolen from shareholders. Unfortunately, people have forgotten about the many crooks who made fortunes from the Dotcom bubble. Lord Simpson at Marconi, another Scotsman from the same mould as Sir Fred Goodwin. It is laughable when you see our brainless government huffing and puffing about whether Ronnie Biggs is a danger to society, when there are thousands of Simpsons, Goodwins and Reeds who go scott free and keep the millions they have stolen. Let us hope that Andy Green and his chosen new are going to bring this company back to life. By the way the share price has bombed out of late, I can't say I will be holding my breath. | robwt
26/6/2009 21:20 | The other welcome aspect is that Logica is no longer 'buying' companies and all the problems that follow. | selborne_edge
26/6/2009 18:55 | Well for now at least my son is in profit here, having locked into the low earlier in the year. The thing to keep in mind is that off shoring and cost containment plans are delivering, while revenues from existing contracts (especially support) remain strong and the renewed focus on new business does provide a good upside opportunity. | mike111d
26/6/2009 17:22 | I should think that no one is in profit in trading Logica shares. However if you are A05.... I am very pleased for you ! Today was a very good day for Logica, particularly as the general market was all over the place. Lets hope it is the first of many such days ! I can dream ! | selborne_edge
26/6/2009 17:13 | hands up all those who are in profit! | a0502162
22/6/2009 11:58 | just the normal cycle of things. | a0502162
22/6/2009 10:28 | Down again, who'd a thought. | robwt
22/6/2009 08:06 | robwt Thanks for the tip but I get more e-mails than I know what t do with as it is. Besides, I always prefer indipendent news rather than that issued by a company, tends not to be so biased.............. | a0502162
22/6/2009 01:37 | mrall; Yeh, you are right, but I have the Logica Blues, have been suffering for years. | robwt
21/6/2009 18:35 | re: robwt Do your homework first... and please be more negative in the future ;-) love you too... | mralliantie
21/6/2009 18:17 | As I said before, all these reports of deals have no effect on the sp, so Mr Alliante's cut and paste from Logs website is pretty futile. I think Mr Alliantie is Andy Green's PR man and should call his posts 'Much ado about nothing'. A0, you can receive them first by e mail if you register with Logica. | robwt
21/6/2009 15:07 | Mralltiedup Just had my hair cut other day..........but what has that got to do with it? So what does that lot above mean................ Otherwise it's just alot of news we can all read somewhere else. But hey thanks for the hard work of saving me the bother! | a0502162
21/6/2009 12:12 | RE: A0502162 - 19 Jun'09 - 21:07 - 95 of 96 Mralluntied. Well what can I say................. -------------------- cheers and go cut your hair if you have any! | mralliantie
19/6/2009 21:07 | Mralluntied. Well what can I say................. | a0502162
18/6/2009 19:15 | Oh and there you go, back up again............mag | a0502162 |
