It looks like the Company's launch of market leading footfall data for UK-quoted supermarkets to help financial analysts better measure store performance and size of market share was very well timed. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-57718738 Sainsburys and/or Tesco may be next for takeover.

Clarifying my last post: A company, that has been making a loss for a number of years, may have value as a ‘turnaround play’ to a buyer who believes that the business still has potential. The new parent will probably wish to make changes to the target company’s business, such as introducing new capital or changing the way it operates. If it succeeds, the target company’s past losses will be useful in sheltering its new profits. However, if the changes are too radical, there is a risk that these losses will be lost altogether.

Subject to the UK tax authority's agreement, the Company has tax losses of approx £20,200,000 available to carry forward and offset against future taxable profits. So it really makes sense to bring in a profitable partner and hopefully utilise this benefit.

There is always the possibility Mahmud & Co. don't want LSAI's technology or customer base. So, are Slade and Rae only being retained (given their contacts in the industry) to sell the business in its entirety, i.e., realise best value? If they can get a good price and add this to the Company's existing funds, then LSAI will effectively be a listed cash shell for acquiring a private company and taking the latter public, without having to go through the traditional IPO process. Right now I am more excited about the prospects for an uplift in the share price than would have been the case if the old guard were still in charge.

Is this going to become a part of Boohoos in house advertising plan? what do they want out of their £3.5M investment or purchase as it now seems? Don't think that they want the customers so maybe the technology. I am beginning to think that the share price should have gone up today not down!

As I don't see them being fundamental to the new direction of the company, I feel they will be paid off and probably gone before the completion of their notice period.

It looks like the new owners have given Slade and Rae the boot. This may also suggest the Company's two core products are up for sale.

Possible Offer for Wm Morrison Supermarkets plc Hopefully this takeover play will draw a wider audience to Location Sciences ‘Footfall to Share Price’ product, recently introduced as part of an Alternative Data catalogue on the Bloomberg Enterprise Access Point.

Someone on LSE did wonder whether Mark Slade is on his way out. He certainly hasn't given the impression of being very active in recent months.

Lack of Mark Slades activity might suggest his and new owners plans likely differs.

As reported in the 2020 trading statement and accounts, the key for Verify to be a successful SAAS offering is to find the right partners who are committed to promoting transparency and supporting a brand direct channel strategy. Wouldn't it be ironic if GeoProve is one of those !!!

Let us hope so mashman. Putting pandemic issues aside and the negative impact this has had on LSAI, I feel the company really needs new direction and momentum. Right now I am not sure whether this will be of Mark Slade's/David Rae's doing or that of the new owners and their cohorts.

hTTps://www.cityam.com/boohoo-stitches-up-revenue-surge-with-online-shopping-here-to-stay/ It will be interesting to see how our new crop of shareholders, predominantly from the ranks of Boohoo, can bring value to LSAI.

Hello Mashman, no interesting or informative reasons I'm afraid. An experienced and successful investor recommended it about 3 years ago. I bought at 0.42p.

Good luck bradwellbasher. I am hoping to more than double my money. how did you come by this particular share? Looks like they are squeezing out weak shares before a move. Chart looks sweet. One more day above 8 day EMA should confirm a northerly move.

Best wishes bradwellbasher. Everything hinges on the new strategy the Board is devising. Hopefully we will get some more information on this at next week's AGM. Furthermore, the Company really needs to pick up its PR. This has been woefully lacking in the past.

I doubt you would dismiss someone and then soon afterwards sign up to his new business offering. I suspect both were complicit in trying to discredit LSAI. However, without a court case to establish the facts, it is all pure conjecture on my part.
