For all the proud Scots on this board who bang on about their country, I saw the film "Nae Pasaran" tonight. If you haven't seen it, do. Very moving. Well done the Scottish workers at Rolls Royce all those years ago. The audience even applauded at the end.

The more I hear Labour mps speaking the more they convince me how useless they are. They want power for the sake of being in power.

Stay in Europe means..No more pound No more for country and Queen No more Britannia rules the world No more decisions in UK but in Brussels No more ..In this case no more parliament.. why pay salaries to these useless MPs if all important decisions are made for us by bureaucrats in Brussels.

Yes, MU, I had that thought - she'll do anything but resign...even if the majority against is in the order of 130 or so.

An aptly aimed Drone should do the job.

Polar - if true, implies she wont resign, whatever! And, has she really been in place since WW2 :) (Mirror's words not yours, I add).

A laugh a minute. The Mirror:

Theresa May puts RAF plane on standby as she faces biggest parliamentary defeat since WW2.

The beleaguered prime minister is expected to make an immediate plug for Plan B if her deal flounders - and then race to Brussels to beg for further concessions.

Some Tory (hard) brexiteer MPs might support a VONC in the Govt. as it is the only way now to get her out, with the VONC in her having failed giving her 'safety' for another 12 months. Let's face it there's no point in worrying about party unity any more given that they've failed to work together to drive a hard bargain with the EU, which was what the 17.4 million expected and hoped for, and will remember at the next election.

Remember, an early election can only be triggered with 75%.

About 75% to impeach an American President.
40% minimum of eligible voters must vote leave in first Scottish referendum.

...about 38% voted leave in the 2016 referendum.
too feeble a result, too many did not bother to vote.
62% of eligible voters did not vote to leave.

The next vote, a generation after the first will be more conclusive.
(A generation is about 3 years in this computer age.)

Still think she would survive a confidence vote. Where we go from here is anybody's guess now, just hope March 29th don't get cancelled but I think it will unfortunately , she will do anything just to stay in power
