It will be great to have the in/out Brexit debate settled - at least this Board might be free of all the rank stupidity expressed in the guise of debate.

Q is Pyramid selling. 'Nuff said.

Interesting !!Initiative Q is an attempt by ex-PayPal guys to create a new payment system instead of payment cards that were designed in the 1950s. The system uses its own currency, the Q, and to get people to start using the system once it's ready they are allocating Qs for free to people that sign up now (the amount drops as more people join - so better to join early). Signing up is free and they only ask for your name and an email address. There's nothing to lose but if this payment system becomes a world leading payment method your Qs can be worth a lot. If you missed getting bitcoin seven years ago, you wouldn't want to miss this. Here is my invite link: https://initiativeq.com/invite/sQ1CF2ftbThis link will stop working once I'm out of invites. Let me know after you registered, because I need to verify you on my end.

Brexiteers REJECT May's New Year plea as major vote looms - 'PM's deal is NOT true Brexit'

TORY Brexiteers have rejected pleas from Theresa May to back her divisive deal -

with prominent Leave supporter Sir Bill Cash making it his New Year’s Resolution

not to back the Prime Minister’s terms.

Former Cabinet minister Sir John Redwood, a fierce critic of the terms, insisted he still had "fundamental objections" to Mrs May's plan and rejected suggestions he was "wobbling" in his opposition.

Veteran Eurosceptic Sir Bill Cash said: "My New Year's Resolution - not to vote for the PM's Withdrawal Agreement this January."

And Andrea Jenkyns said she wanted a "true Brexit" and called for MPs to reject the Prime Minister's deal.

BREXITEER businessman Tim Martin -

Waste of time talking about MATHs to some in this country. They take "Pride" in not doing

mathematics, it`s a honour for them. That`s why MPS have been able to fiddle their

expense accounts for so long.....

'Better off from day ONE!' Wetherspoons Boss WARNS 'simple maths' for no-deal DEFEAT May

BREXITEER businessman Tim Martin urged MPs to vote down Theresa May's Brexit deal in favour of leaving the European Union without an agreement, which he claimed would make Britain "better off from day one".

The point is you`ve got to do the maths. And the maths are that if we leave the

EU on the 29th of March next year, take control of the fishing, don`t pay £39

billion, eliminate tariffs - yes the EU might charge us a few things - but on

those maths, we`re better off on day one.

Tim Martin knows, you know.....

'They have NO idea!' Wetherspoon boss Tim Martin attacks MPs over customs union IGNORANCE

It is worrying that MPs have no knowledge at all as to how the customs operates and how it costs their constituents every day.

WETHERSPOON boss and ardent Brexiteer Tim Martin has written to every MP in

Britain to express his dismay that a large number of politicians have "no idea"

how the EU protectionist customs union works.

Mr Martin claimed that many MPs have “no knowledge at all on how the trade bloc

impacts their constituents, This is Money reports. The Brexit-backing chairman of

the JD Wetherspoon chain said the customs union results in additional taxes on

more than 12,500 items such as oranges, rice and children clothes, which drive

up prices for consumers. He said: The customs union pushes up prices for

consumers and the tariff income is collected by the UK Government and is sent to

Brussels.

I`ve campaigned for no deal because it enables you on March 29 to copy Singapore,

New Zealand and Australia and adopt a free trade approach.

You save 39bn, you regain control of fishing and you reduce prices for British

consumers. That`s what Brexit really is.

"We will be able to do a deal at some stage with the EU, but the problem is people

prioritised a deal, particularly Theresa May; it's become not leaving, it's let's

have a deal at all costs."

Speaking last week, Mr Martin called on Mrs May to resign over her handling of

Brexit.

He said the Prime Minister was still a Remainer at heart, despite her pledge to

guide Britain out of the EU, and believed the myth that leaving with no deal

would be a disaster.

From LeeU

One interesting point here for you, there have been calls for the EU to release

detailed impact documents outlining the effects of a no-deal scenario with the UK,

the EU has refused every time, WHY?

Look at the recent no-deal plans the EU released, allowing clearing houses in

London to continue to service customers in the EU, granted this is supposedly

temporary but I doubt it.

Same with the visa waiver for UK citizens, several countries in the EU would go

into recession from loss of tourism from the UK alone, in fact Portugal and Spain

are already feeling the effects and we haven't left yet.

The German economy is slowing, reasons cited, trade war between US and China and

Brexit uncertainty, again, we haven't left yet and there hasn't been an increase

in tariffs.

France has problems already, add loss of 40-50% of their fishing industry and

potentially 30-40% of their produce exports to the UK and guess where that leaves

them?

In the mean time, UK has the highest employment figures for 40 odd years, wages

are rising in real terms, house prices are NOT falling and the UK's GDP figures

are constantly being revised upwards, unlike Europe where theirs are being revised

down.

Sick and tired of Trump, he has turned the USA into a reality show. Far from being a Billionaire, Alan Sugar says Trump couldn't write a cheque for £250k that a bank would honour and Fortune mag agrees. His backing comes from Russia.

And Trump's redneck voters are nothing like the UK intelligent Brexit voters who are actually trying to get rid of corruption. Trump is a crook!!!!

In one of his most recent arguments for a southern border wall, President Donald Trump on Sunday falsely claimed that Barack and Michelle Obama's home here is surrounded by a 10-foot wall. (Trump....Oh Nancy, can I have one too? Can I, can I, can I?........................pretty please!)
