chance would be a fine thing in this country

full of people not working in this country due to working benefits ensuring it pays NOT to work . Either that or having hotels full of illegals sponging off the decreasing amount of taxpayers in this once fine country

Scruff, your position has obviously taken because of the propaganda & political dogma you've exposed yourself to over the years. You've drawn down the shutters and shut up shop & become all tribal like the MSM. I still haven't heard a reason from you as to why you don't think farmers should pay 20%IHT. Just cos I wasn't immediately dismissive of the idea suddenly I'm a raving Marxist??

Unintended consequences falling out from Trumps election and his appointment of crazy unqualified extremists.
The left wing see this as a chance to cosy up to the Eu. so as to avoid us becoming Americas lap dog.

'Workers of the World unite' wrote Karl Marx.

All of a sudden socialism is on the agenda again, this time without apologising for it.

That comment from a minister the other day says it all. "Thatcher crushed the miners because she hated them and was out for revenge"
'We will get the landed gentry and farmers to pay some tax, that particular fiddle is over we hate the tax system being loaded in their favour'.

It really is game on and Labour seem tougher this time, they have learned from Thatcher and Trump.
It is a idealogical war, and they have another 4 years to do it.

The UK must "rebuild relations" with the EU "while respecting the decision of the British people" who voted to leave in 2016, the Bank of England's governor has said.

Andrew Bailey's Mansion House speech to investors marked some of his strongest comments yet on Brexit, saying one of its consequences has been weaker trade.

He has previously avoided commenting on the topic because of the Bank's independence from Westminster politics.

Such a minor matter - but crucial to our food supply.
Continuance in farming - if allowed - may stop the tasteless veg from o/seas.
And without it - we die
IMO such a petty hit - bit like Gloria personal carer thing.
This lot are ten times worse than labour lot of the last 14 years!

Why?
Because Carney is part of the globalist cabal.

Allison does write some over the top garbage.
But she should be allowed to say it.

Not keeping up but was it that emotional piece about Oct 7th?
Oct 7th horror stories ran for weeks.

It seemed to be portrayed as the worst day in human history.

SIR – Using "Kafkaesque" (report, November 13) to describe Allison Pearson's experience is very accurate. Franz Kafka's novel The Trial opens with: "Someone must have been telling lies about Joseph K for, without having done anything wrong, he was arrested one fine morning." On the following page, K asks what he has been arrested for: "We are not authorised to tell you." Such an exchange might be expected in today's Russia, but not Britain. And yet Ms Pearson – who has not been charged – has been confronted by the police because an unnamed person claims to have been offended a year ago by a form of words the police refuse to reveal. And the officers say that the accuser in this situation is actually "the victim". The British justice system seems to have forgotten that a person is innocent until proved guilty.Alun HarveyGroningen, Netherlands..Daily Telegraph

This practise is prohibited in the US. Transparency is only fair I guess. I'm not sweating, in fact I've bought more at a nice discount.

I think the car dealers forgot to mention that they get a cut when they arrange a loan. They didn't mention it for years while scrutinised by the regulator who noticed nothing wrong at all. I don't recall any of those with a car loan complaining about it, after all they were driving a fancy car they couldn't afford. Lloyds supplied the money, so is in the chain of events. Lloyds has billions slopping around, car dealers don't, so the legal profession goes after Lloyds, not the car dealers or the regulator who allowed it.I just hope Tesco doesn't bank with Lloyds . I just bought some sausages and nowhere on the packet does it say Tesco make some profit on them. I want compensating for that.
