TRUMP will be a great negotiator when he sits down with putin. Putin will say he wants all of Ukraine and Trump will say " can we agree on 90% " . I understand he did not actually write " The art of the deal " . :) |

Introducing Lloyds Living |
US Markets recovered early losses yesterday but then dived again before close after Trump said reciprocal tariffs will be applied from 2nd April on any countries that raise their tariffs in retaliation against American tariffs that came into effect yesterday. But Lloyds ADR LYG closing price was up closing at $3.82, a rise of +3.8%. I cannot see any news which would explain this rise? At current exchange rate that equates to a share price of 74.6p. Will we get a spike up in share price to reflect this when markets open this morning? |
New Victory: Russian Army Took Control Of Andreevka, DPR
Support SouthFront
The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation do not stop their offensive on the Donbass frontlines. On March 4th, Russian forces took control of the village of Andreevka in the Donetsk People’s Republic.
Fighters of the 114th Brigade of the 51st Guards Combined Arms Donetsk Army (the former 1st Army Corps of the DPR) declared their victory in Andreevka, supporting their claims with the footage of their flag waving over the village.
The enemy tried to hold the defense, but his positions crumbled under the pressure of our fighters. Neither concealing nor hideout saved the enemy from the inevitable defeat. Determination, coherence and precision of actions – that’s what determines the outcome of the battle,- fighters of the 114th Brigade wrote.
The video shared by Russian soldiers shows the battles and their victory in Andreevka:
The flag was raised on the western outskirts, confirming the full control of the village, as well as secured Russian control of the areas nearby. Meanwhile, the assault groups of the 114th Brigade have launched assault on the village of Oleksiivka (Alekseevka) located west of Andreevka.
Russian control of Andreevka increase pressure on the stronghold of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Konstantinopol, where battles are already ongoing in the center. Russian forces entered the town from the southern and southeastern directions. Their assault on Konstantinopol from the north will capture Ukrainian forces with another cauldron and force them to retreat to Bogatyr village to the west.

I wonder how people get on with out the fare? They probaly have a vicarious existence? if James O'brien said Psychos dog had a physics badge I'm sure Arja would know all about it. He'd probably kick his dog for not knowing the Mechanical Principles of Matter. |
And yes again Careless - I agree with what u have said. |
FGS just filter - unless of course u are into masochistic elation. |
It doesn’t matter if Arja “wants” to be taken seriously - it’s akin to my pet dog wanting to become Nobel Laureate in physics. For such a journey, you need the correct fare. |

Analysts with a load of nonsense trying to keep up with a surprisingly frothy share price Nothing suddenly happened to add 20p to the shares, the tangible book value is still somewhere in the low 50's and has been around that level all this time. LLOY performance and outlook has always been pretty good, the chatter about changing net interest fortunes and bad loan expectations just goes to show how badly "experts" have been calling it, and I doubt they have got it right now.
If anything LLOY good underlying performance and prospects is now being diluted by the motor finance risk, and costs are rising faster than the savings from pruning the branch network.
The reality is that dividends have been restored to where we were all those years ago, and the share price has followed because once again investors believe that LLOY is an income champion again. It may also be the case that progressively removing a meaningful volume of shares from the hands of fickle investors has turned the tide. |
