Analysts with a load of nonsense trying to keep up with a surprisingly frothy share price Nothing suddenly happened to add 20p to the shares, the tangible book value is still somewhere in the low 50's and has been around that level all this time. LLOY performance and outlook has always been pretty good, the chatter about changing net interest fortunes and bad loan expectations just goes to show how badly "experts" have been calling it, and I doubt they have got it right now.
If anything LLOY good underlying performance and prospects is now being diluted by the motor finance risk, and costs are rising faster than the savings from pruning the branch network.
The reality is that dividends have been restored to where we were all those years ago, and the share price has followed because once again investors believe that LLOY is an income champion again. It may also be the case that progressively removing a meaningful volume of shares from the hands of fickle investors has turned the tide. |

Schumer CAUGHT having SECRET MEETING with Zelenskyy.

So Ace, if it hits 84 I'll put in a stop at 81. I've made in excess of £230k over the 11 years or so in dividends so no complaints here. |
Peel Hunt says hold, target 70p |
George Soros was proud of his role, and was quite open about it. He is retired now and his son leads. This was not propaganda, it is what he does.
I saw that famous meeting in Ukraine between Soros, Larry Fink of BlackrocK and Zelensky talking about the re building of Ukraine after the war was over.
You have to admire all three of them, no point of being anti semitic. They are movers and shakers, motivated, they get things done. Many slaughtered but that does not seem to bother them. |
Agree but I have been over optimistic for years! |
plenty of PUTIN admirers or apologists on this thread - low life scum who will say Putin was not involved in SaliSbury poisonings IN SAME WAY as CORBYN ! Europe needs a European army now and what a fuss Brexiteers made of that - idiots ! |
and George Soros story was in the biased propaganda media you say you dislike ! |
2014 coup ? you will believe anything you are told ! sure , plenty of biased propaganda in UK and mainly in the rags you love to read sport ! But even the DAILY MAIL is critical of the way trump and Vance treated the wonderful wartime leader . Grow up please ! |
As you know ace, what you paid for a share is irrelevant. Only the future matters. What will this look like in two years ti.e is the important metric. I might as well answer. Omg double the price even after large divis paid. Assu.ing there's no Ww3 in that time. |
good post whites. An accurate assessment. You forget to mention the roll of George Soros and his organisation in the activity and funding of the 2014 coup.
We do not have a free honest press in this country anymore. mostly biased propaganda. |
Out of interest, would you sell once that average has been reached or continue to hold jordaggy? |
That'd do me, I need 84 to break even on my SIPP holdings. |
Arja, The Loud-Mouthed Nobody Arja, you are a delusional, clueless fraud, spewing half-baked, surface-level opinions that collapse under even the slightest scrutiny. You:
Know nothing about immigration law but pretend to be an expert. Obsess over Trump while ignoring Biden’s absolute failure. Support housing policies without understanding basic economics.
And the best part? None of it even matters. You don’t live in the UK, your opinions have zero impact, and your endless, uninformed drivel contributes nothing of value to anyone.
At the end of the day, you’re just an angry old man screaming into the void, desperately trying to be relevant in a world that’s already forgotten you.

"Good news on leasehold flats!" – Arja’s Economic Cluelessness So, you celebrate this virtue-signaling nonsense without a second thought? Let’s educate you on why this proposal will backfire spectacularly:
Banning new leasehold flats doesn’t make housing more affordable—it just shifts the costs elsewhere. Developers will pass the expense onto buyers, making property prices even higher. Leasehold reform won’t magically fix the housing crisis when the real problem is supply, planning laws, and overpopulation (which your beloved "boat migrants" are making worse). You claim "Tories are protecting landlords," yet fail to realise that Labour’s excessive regulation would collapse the rental market, making it even harder for people to find homes. Brilliant thinking, Arja! Your understanding of housing, economics, and market forces is non-existent. But that’s no surprise, given that you don’t understand trading, immigration, or politics either.
