Great post though GNR, I wish there was more emphasis placed on fancy cheese in UK art galleries. When I go Bath & Soho I always come back feeling very flamboyant & gregarious.

Enlightenment can only be achieved by gormandizing on everything. I suppose its not for everyone particularly if you've had little exposure to brutish adversity which is relative. For many in the UK and US its failing your GCSE's/Sat's is the most traumatic experience. If you come from Serbia or Kosovo its very different.

War and Peace was readable! The Gulag Archipelago not so! Why study it? Speed read it if you must about mans inhumanity to man! Don't dwell on it if you don't want your sensibilities cauterized! You'll never be the same again and impossible to unread it, or erase the images it imprints on your subconscious.
A long time ago I shared a flat with some individuals who worked in a W1 art gallery involved in the Neorealist movement, given free tickets for La Dolce Vita by Federico Fellini which was movie art at its best, then taken to see the most evil, bestial, grotesque, depravity with scenes of obese, corpulent drunken bodies lying about the place snoring after gormandizing! Steered away from that forever! Never accepted an invitation to an art gallery first day annunciation again, but those were the hungry years when it was the choice of using LVs (luncheon vouchers) at Lyons tea house, or free cheese, pineapple and anchovy canapés at the gallery!

Trying to be a smarty pants again Mr Careful. Ive never read Mein Kampf - never wanted to but why would 200k words be a problem? Ive read War and Peace and that is over 500k words. I didnt count em though I couldnt have cared less, I googled it after you did.
The holocaust really refers to a dreadful event or series of events. To try and be a smarty by refuting the numbers belittles it and yourself. Its generally accepted that there were 6m victims but if you think there were only 3m then crack on.
My point was that its ironic that those who decry Le Penn for holocaust denial are the same that chant from the river to the sea referencing the destruction of Israel. It was intended as an observation not a comment on history.

I find it very surprising that a person with the ability to handle self investment practices would fall for jumping on the Reform band wagon.

The simple fact is that our electoral process will not allow any minor party the number MPs needed to make a difference, other than to having an impact on whether the Tories or labour form the next UK government. UKIP being a prime example.

What does Holocaust denier mean?
Was never quite sure.
If someone did some research and concluded that there were not the 'official' 6 million victims, there were about 3 million, then I believe he is judged a Holocaust denier.

MM2, when my next door neighbour got his Alsation I had all our hedges replaced with close board fencing and installed a couple of glory holes. After a couple of unsuccessful/ close shaves we've settled on peanut butter or Nutella which I've found are licked off with less enthusiasm than say bovril. Hope thus helps.
