Plus lloyds was a distribution consolidation in the sector period. Catching up. as simple as that maybe

jrph, dunno. Could be as simple as sector trend dumping since the zone double top

They all seem to have a similarly timed dip but nothing on the scale of LLoy

End of month has always been the time for dodgy changes to put cash on the books, however it's not stopped me adding a few more :)

Cheers scruff, certainly not as it used to be is it. So once again the banks foot the bill. Actually I have not looked at the other banks, are they suffering as well?...been a busy morning for me...

Is it speculators hitting Lloy this pm? I don't see the rest of the sector similarly hit.

You might think that's just a pretty pic, or an ugly one. believe me, thats the funds in action. very easy to be bearish on lloyds

Not how it used to be Opto. Depending on what exactly happened but if salaries are contracted to be paid on the 28th of the month and customers have DDs etc outgoing on those days and these incur penalties if missed then the banks are liable if at fault. It is the last day of the month so it could be large. But like I say its only an idea. Obviously something has happened that is deemed to to be negative to Lloy on quite a scale.

Unbelievable. I can't find any news that justifies the drop, but it will emerge later today...

scruff, why should the banks be responsible for the customers shortfall...the debt still lies with the customer?

I wonder whether it is to do with the pay day outages. If people are left with debts due to inability to meet direct debits etc then the banks are liable. Only thing I can think of at the moment

It really goes to show...the controlling Zionist don't care who wins, makes no odds. Israel controls the US. Wake up!
