What caught Truss out was she didn't give any consideration to the implications of her policies. She didn't get anyone on side.

Liz Truss has insisted that Tony Blair was the worst prime minister, not her.

The former Conservative Party leader defended her record from her 49 days in office in an interview with her local newspaper, pointing instead to Sir Tony and highlighting binding legislation he introduced on human rights, equality and climate change.

Ms Truss, who is defending her South West Norfolk seat, told the Eastern Daily Press: “The worst prime minister in recent years is Tony Blair who created things like the Equality Act, the Human Rights Act and the Climate Change Act.”

Good substack article the Democrats that Gekz. I've been saying for years the West under the US are no better than the Russians....worse infact, Russia doesn't bother with the pretence of democracy, much more honest & upfront.

Ha ha ha. Labour has spent £0.5m advertising on social media, the Tories £0.2m and Reform FA. Guess whose winning the battle for followers? Makes you wonder about the polls. Are pollsters like the BBC and select who they ask to get the right answers? Is that why they so often get it wrong? Will Labour quickly drop its plan to allow infants to vote?
