comments of a friend of ours in Russia and she says what many Russians think of Putin .

Nadya's older sister Dina lives now in Berlin with her children: 3 sons and little daughter Anna 3 y.o.

Her eldest son is 20 y.o.

And Dina took him immediately from Russia to Berlin, when the war began.

About million young people left Russia!

My brother's eldest daughter Anastasia also left for Georgia in February.

This bloodthirsty ghoul has ruined the lives of many many young people and took the lives of both Russian and Ukrainian guys!

You are so obsessed with rubbishing Zelensky, its perverse. Are you claiming there is no corruption or less corruption in Russia? The EU, the UK, the US or any other country that has a government full of greasy pole climbers?. In reality what is the main reason for virtually every politician getting involved with politics? Ther are not many if any conviction politicians. Zelensky for whatever the original reason is surely one now. How about claiming that now the Ukraine has broken away from its former corrupt masters with their culture of corruption, Hero Zelensky has now started the process of cleansing Ukraine of those infected with the Russian disease. Come on chaps you know Im right. Bring yourself to travel the road to Damascus and make Volodymyr you hero of 2023 - if you love rap I know you can love Volodymyr.

Paragon has issued a very nice quarterly trading update. The final part reads:

The Board's FY23 guidance for new business flows, operating costs and RoTE remain unchanged, and net interest margin growth guidance is being increased by 5bps to +25bps.
unquote

I like that bit - it probably applies across the sector.

Lockdowns, economy trashed, NHS in a mess – the incompetence that's killing usFacts4EU.Org breaks down the latest numbers and asks some difficult questions?Montage © Facts4EU.Org 2023We will also publish some figures that will surprise many readersAnyone want to talk about dying? No? We thought not. Unfortunately, like taxes, we all have to face this sooner or later. According to the ONS data released on Friday, last year (2022) there were 577,177 deaths in England and Wales. In 2022 only 22,001 of the 577,177 were 'due to Covid'.There have been many articles in the press recently about excess deaths. Many more pieces have been written about the appalling waits for ambulances and the difficulty in actually seeing a GP (in person) before next Christmas. As ever, getting to the truth takes a lot of careful research. Not all is as it seems from headline figures.... Full article.. Facts4eu.org

Scruff does not believe this Z aint no saint with his money stashed away off shore.
This has been a glorified Nato do at the expense of so many UKR citizens.
The risk is very real when u provoke the crocodile u lose what u have. when u bite the boa u suffer unknown harm.
But the end is bad when the sane condone the mad - this will end very badly. Germany should have resisted US bullying

Trouble is Clive we are censored from discussing Ukraine Russia or Nato etc similar to covid 19.next we will be censored for having an opinion about climate change. It seems places like this board are the only places you can share real factual info which isn't Controlled by the government's agenda. So poor old lloyds gets it.. I'll promise to comment more on lloyds.

I believe that inflation will be down to at least to 5% or lower by the end of the year.
Petrol down from 191 to 146, gas prices are falling, Food prices are still at 15% though.
Banks could pay some ir higher interest so are making excess profits.
Then they are making a fortune on charging excess interest charges.
Sins I'd pulling things around - debt is extremely high now we don't want Labour in as they would make it a lot worse.
But Donald Duck would beat Sunak in an Election now but by default.

It obviously begs the question how can Zelensky can be oblivious that his entire cabinet is on the take, particularly when his Mrs has been splashing 40k in Davos & Paris whilst begging fir more aid. Its all starting to unravel a Scruff you can only bury your head in the sand for so long.

Scruff....I thought I'd made my point quite succinctly? 12 top Ukraine officials have resigned (pushed actually) because they have been caught stealing foreign aid money from the US & EU to buy cars & houses. An equivalent comparison would be the entire British cabinet standing down on the same day on corruption charges...there is no comparison to be made. Why don't you look at the link? are you worried it will challenge your perception and make you feel uncomfortable?
