Good point all Sunaks done is chucked his roll off of London Bridge. I don't hold much hope for any of these lot TBH. Forget Truss Sunak Mogg Patel, These names are tainted. Those who will lead the next phase of Tory governance will be those keeping a low profile. Think Baker Raab Kwarteng. Personally I think when the going get tough Sunak will get going.

The shame...

Two men who were being detained in an immigration van which was surrounded by protesters have been released.

The move followed a standoff between police officers and protesters in Kenmure Street on Glasgow's southside.

Early on Thursday people surrounded the Home Office vehicle believed to contain two immigrants who had been removed from a flat.

Hundreds gathered in the area, with one man crawling under the van to prevent it form moving.

Re facemasks
I went for my second injection yesterday and didn't think about putting on a mask. I wasn't being contrary, I literally didn't think of it. No-one asked me to put a mask on. Interestingly, I think, the chaps manning the doors did make me wash my hands with some cleaning agent - but they didn't mention masks. Does this suggest official guidance has (very discreetly) been changed?

Today I had a hospital visit and it was the same: no-one mentioned a mask at the hospital and neither did either driver.

The lessons of the tulips are so relevant today as they were back then.

I have the mental fortitude to realise that most of the time intrinsic value is a distant market cap memory in most of these 'fanboy' stocks well before they even get offered to the masses of market muppets. I don't get carried away in all the hype, unlike you.

As-a-matter-of-fact I did play the game and did well out of it. The company I founded listed remember.
