Yes UTT...I was one of those fooled into thinking Blair's devolution was all about easing the administrative burden in central Govt., now realise more subtle agenda was to break up UK so we'd be swallowed up more easily by EU. Thank you Nigel Farage for saving us.

All this talk of vdl being vulnerable will have teflon Tony sharpening his knives and going for another stab at the top job. Just watch out if he gets there and starts rambling about the UK having wmds pointed at Brussels and could be there in 15 mins.Anyhow, the bloke needs a decent paid job, even I would baulk if my Mrs had to flog her clothes on fleabay to make ends meet.

Scruff - "VDL will probably be voted out by most European citizens at the next election - ooops there isnt one"

So true, but you know what, if the Commission can't succeed in making the UK the scapegoat, they'll look elsewhere, and that would mean VDL.

There's a reasonable chance that she's toast, although for anyone capable of independent thought it won't affect the glaring fact that the EU system is riddled with unresolvable faults in its present form.

Actually the average height of people in England is 5ft 9in. The average height of a Chinese person is 5ft 4in. Whatever that has got to do with owt.

SEVEN MILLION AZNO vaccines sitting in EU refrigerators, and VDL does a stand-up berating the UK for not allowing vaccines to leave our shores. Well we all know the difference between commercial transactions and nationalism.

Classic political smokescreen and damage limitation - creating a distraction from her and the Commission's failings.

Well it won't work, and it's not working.

Why does this matter? Because it highlights the reasons we left the warm embrace of Brussels: stifling bureaucracy and back-door nationalism.

I doubt that there'll be any hiccup in vaccine supplies, the problem is that those who had their vaccinations 12 weeks ago are now due their 2nd jab, so there'll be a long hold-up before 1st vaccines start again in earnest, and even then it won't be at the same rate as before.
