For interest, the ONS reports 103,704 deaths with CV-19 on the death certificate as of Jan.15.
Much higher than the official daily number ten days ago, of course, which looks like it will breach 100k either today or tomorrow, depending on the size of the post-weekend catch-up.

I think you're extremely lucky to be able to refer to them as 'pork pies'.

I understand the french and germans have stuck an amimalisation controlee on pig products, so only they can use the word 'pork' to describe any europroducts. Out of respect for the eu, i think you should refer to them as the eu would like us to - a 'minced fat, snout and innards in a jellified trotter jus' pie

Poikka, it's very clear the remoaner attachment to the EU isn't rational; one could even say there's something pathological about it. We needn't expect them to view the situation objectively any time soon.
