Sky reporting that the latest plan is to take fishing out of the Brexit deal altogether.
Some sort of agreement involving Norway, Russia, UK with EU suggested.

A bit late after 4 years to be coming up with new ideas.

careful, I was leaving Germany (back in the late 60's, yeah I'm that old), it was somewhere near Saarbrucken, I was going down country lanes and unaware that I was so close to the French border. It was a fast bike but not noisy, and I was throwing it around bends as you do. I came round a sweeping bend doing about 80, I was surprised to see a small border post, and luckily the barrier was up, since the speed I was going and my angle to the ground made it impossible to stop. As I flashed past, the guards were just beginning to stir, they had rifles, and I heard two shots, but thought it best not to go back to enquire into things. I never heard anything about it, so I guess they didn't manage to get the number of the bike, it was approaching dusk at the time. This is not the only time I have been shot at though!

Mr Johnson's negotiating playbook:

Step 1: Agree and sign an international treaty ("an oven-ready deal" if you will).
Step 2: Nine months later, issue draft legislation which unilaterally breaches said treaty.
Step 3: While negotiating another international agreement with the same counterparty, offer to undo Step 2 as "an olive branch".

You could not make up this stuff.

Ah yes the Range Rover, I've been in a few but never tempted to buy one, they seem quite pointless to me, unless you want to tell the world that you have money to burn, or perhaps have a farm driveway off a motorway!

The phone call between Biden and Trump a while back resulted in Biden telling Johnson that he disapproved of the controversial clauses.

Anti EU Trump being kicked out has changed the UK position on Brexit.

Easy to see why Johnson has removed the clauses.
He cannot take on the whole World.

Reminds me of a voyage I did from Antwerp to Beirut and Sur (Tyre) with second hand cars: the boots were locked and I had no idea of what they contained - allegedly personal effects - not good under the circumstances. Glad to get shot of that lot.
