Maxk,

Correct Maxk.
We are still in the EU until the end of the transition period - 1st Jan 2021
We still pay, we are still subject to their rules etc etc.

We have left in name only so far.

We don't know what we don't know.

Let's wait and see, and in the meantime all right-minded people will be taking all the precautions governments have been advising since early Spring. If we/they did, the situation right now would be pretty good with economies looking much healthier.

Live Latest coronavirus news: Vaccine is 'likely to be imperfect' and 'might not prevent infection', warns head of UK task force

Global Health Security Team
28 OCTOBER 2020 • 8:19AM

The first generation of Covid-19 vaccines "is likely to be imperfect" and "might not work for everyone", the chair of the UK Vaccine Taskforce has said.

No vaccine in the history of medicine "has been as eagerly anticipated" and it is "widely regarded as the only true exit strategy from the pandemic", Kate Bingham wrote in The Lancet.

However, she cautioned against over-optimism and that any vaccine might not work for everyone, or for very long.

"We do not know that we will ever have a vaccine at all," she wrote. "It is important to guard against complacency and over-optimism.

"The first generation of vaccines is likely to be imperfect, and we should be prepared that they might not prevent infection but rather reduce symptoms, and, even then, might not work for everyone or for long."

We've left the EU, we're soon to leave the Single Market / Customs Union. Boris knows he can't accept any deal that the left media could possibly interpret as not actually leaving.

Nah...Biden has been exposed . Trump will walk it in the end. A lot of the early voters who voted for Biden want to change their vote. Biden can't even remember the name of Trump. He's a walking disaster. Don't get me wrong I'm not a Trump supporter.

Recall Soros saying at the time of the EU Ref., something about you can't unscramble the omelette. By leaving the EU, we've proved him wrong.
