EU blasted for 'trying to recreate Common Fisheries Policy' as stubborn Macron savaged

THE European Union has been accused of trying to "recreate" the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) in post-Brexit trade talks with the UK.

By KATIE HARRIS

Conservative MP David Jones warned Brussels will have to back down on its fishing

demands and finally accept Britain is going to be an independent coastal state to

reach a deal. The former Brexit minister hit out at the EU for trying

to “recreate” the CFP - which British fishermen say has decimated their

livelihoods.

Mr Jones, who is deputy chair of the influential European Research Group (ERG) of Tory MPs, told Express.co.uk: “They are going to have to drop demands, for example, of full access to British fishing waters.

“What they are trying to do is to recreate the CFP.

“It’s almost as if they haven’t actually accepted the fact we’ve left the EU.

“At the end of the year, we’re going to be an independent coastal state and they need to negotiate with us on an annual basis as they do, for example, with Norway.”

They won't give free prescriptions.
They won't give free education.
They won't let you have a free bedroom.
They won't pay a decent pension.
They won't give bus passes to 60 year olds
They won't feed their kids !

But you think they subsidise Scotland, because they SAY SO ?

Really ?

Take a minute and think about how they could do ALL of the above for their own country if they 'stopped' subsidising Scotland.

Then you might understand that it's all a lie.
Then you might understand it's not true
Then you might understand that they've lied to Scotland and consequently their own people about it for 300 years
Then you might understand it's smoke n mirrors

Scotland's tax take is at £66 billion but we run our country on a £33 billion budget and we do NOT run up £2Trillion in debt

They say we owe them £15B a year. 33+15 is 48 which is STILL a £12B surplus every year so there's only two possible conclusions.
1. We subsidise them
2. They're lying to you

When Scotland leaves and WE no longer subsidise Westminster's spending there are a great many people in for a great big wake up call.

Good news on the banks front, and good news on the Brexit front, despite how Evan Davis might try to spoil it; so not a bad day, all in all. Even Barnier's getting fed up with Macron. Every dog has its day.

We can only balance the books with what’s given .This is a perfect example why we need independence . Getting screwed by a landlord who does not care , but take all the rent .
