Andrew Paul 24 Jul 2020 11:06AMAnd so the not so clear thinking policies of our government are foisted on the population yet again with no one taking responsibility. It seems the government with its cohort of scientific advisors are determined to ruin the country through a divide and conquer approach.Covid is now becoming a nice little earner for the few with a lot of vested interests and the longer it lasts the better. Johnson said he would follow the science to ensure a return to normal, but this has obviously like most of his other C19 strategy been abandoned as it fails to suit his narrative.Patience is beginning to wear very thin with this continuing muddled and ill judged so called leadership. It is only a matter of time before unfortunately civil unrest starts to rear its ugly head.

Expect raised voice, panic stricken and hysterical news coverage in run up to 31st July something like 'failed to reach a deal' 'oh no there'll be no deal'....predictable.

Joe Say: Agree to a point and sure much of it never reaches the people who really need it. Maybe the lesser of two evils though.

It is simply laughable to claim the BBC is objective or that it just gives the facts.

What so all we have is Murdoch brainwashing. No thanks.

You gammons have absolutely no idea about life and power. How old are you lot? What have you been doing for the last 6/7/8 decades?

Well, I'm glad some of you realise what Soft Power is. Next question is do you gammons continue with it or not because you are all over the place with your ideas, just like the government you voted in.

Good relations????? With China????? What a dipstick!!

India asked us to stop sending 'AID' but we still do.

End it all NOW. Charity begins at home.

Also.... This response to a virus has been planned since 2010. Rockefeller foundation had a thinktank create scenarios to increase govt authority and power over their citizens. It’s all there for you own eyes from lockdowns, quarantines, curfews, and masks.

The BBC is no longer fit for purpose, infiltrated by Cultural marxists as it now is.

It needs to be defunded, privatised then shut down..

Rubbish

Most of it gets pocketed by the wealthy elite - often the governments and/or other officials

On the face of it foreign aid can seem wasteful. In a wider context though, it can foster good relations and ward off aid offers from other nations whose influence and involvement may be questionable. Problem is understanding that 'aid' can mean more than just charity and humanitarian care.
