Trump was showing that the elected civil power runs the United States, not a gang of violent thugs.

House prices should be allowed to fall a significant amount but they never will be. Value of a home is what gives people security and a feel good factor and encourages them to spend and keep the economy going, which is what the UK government wants. It is what has been shaping economic policy for decades now and is why savers needs are never considered when setting economic policy, indebtedness is always prioritised. Remember when interest rate policy was handed over to the BOE. Simple remit was to keep inflation between 1-3%. When it went above 3% every excuse under the sun was given for not increasing rates, in order to protect the housing market.

My rant over for the day.

2 lines comment on the Cummings case.." we had to get one of the nobs breaking the lockdown in order to get the chavs doing the same[they were going to be stuck in front of the telly FOREVER] and thereby getting the economy moving."

seems about right.

Polls will be polls.... depends which ones you believe I suppose.

I would have done what Cummings did in his place and I believe family comes before anything else. Most peeps in his position at that time would surely act as he did.

Why should advisers be held to a higher standard than MPs

Kinnock Junior
SNP Blackford.

This list of MPs busting the lockdown,on top of those who have, over the years , theived a nice penny or two for themselves via expenses fraud is extensive.

Why are they not in prison?

I am a leaver and I think Cummings should be hung out to dry.
He is an advisor, who is quite clearly laeding his blonde haired poodle round on a short lead.

Those who fabricated the Cummings story no doubt think, the less said the better; and the rest of us always knew it was rubbish anyway.

With any luck it's the last twitch of the remoaners' corpse.
