Les WiesPosted June 1, 2020 at 3:44 pm | PermalinkStatistics can be analysed, manipulated, and argued over as much as you like, but there is one indisputable factor that accounts for for much of this sickness and death – and not just from C-19; and that is the shockingly poor state of health of the populations of western countries in particular. Recent research shows that only around 12% (!) have optimal metabolic health. By age 55, 50% have one or more comorbidities; by 75, 90% have one or more, with 40% having 2 or more. Most of this is due to poor lifestyle habits. Eg only 5% of breast cancer risk is due to genetic factors, ditto for dementia/AD, etc. The best thing this govt. can do is to get the NHS to be a health service, rather than the disease management service it has become.

I live in London and Khan is very unpopular, many people are disgusted that he has allowed crime to escalate to the highest figures since records began.

He has to go.

Number 10 says easing lockdown won't tip crucial R rate above one amid fears cases will spike as UK announces 111 deaths - the lowest daily toll since lockdown - and almost HALF of NHS hospital trusts have reported no new fatalities in the last 48 hoursDaily mail... maybe the end of the beginning and the beginning of the end. As someone said. But think there will be no vaccine anythime soon. So get 0n with life and that living. Be a bit brave and then there will be Nature's Vaccine. So important for the children and young, and it is they that really matter.

I'm sure most middle class black Americans would rather antifa didn't get involved. It's a really big issue isn't it, not made any easier when you examine benefits & tax take by ethnicity.
