If you had put your money in Lloyds at the same time and left it, your loss would be just 50%...if you had hedged with options like I advised you would be in profits.

Fraisy Lou31 May 2020 2:15PMAnother doomster !All the stuff we used to want and buy we will still want to buy when this is all over.Hopefully, a lot of it will soon be manufactured here in the UK instead of China and hopefully we can get back to quality rather than quantity. The 'just in time' process that the remoaners banged on about have proved to be a complete and utter nonsense so lets go back to keeping proper supplies and save the planet at the same time.  Simplistic I know but its time for a complete regeneration as a free standing nation.6LikeReplyNicholas Barker31 May 2020 2:18PM@Fraisy LouIndeed.  We seem to have managed perfectly well without that EU "frictionless trade", the absence of which was supposedly going to send us back to the stone age

Minnie, I forgot to say that you are in agreement with the hated BBC tax because one of your beloved companies CAPITA hound the poor to pay.

Of course just like all lefty hypocrites, you bash Brexit and Britain but invest money in CAPITA, who have government contacts to collect the TV licence fee.

I know that you were tipping CAPITA at over 1200p a couple of years back, so you must have lost an awful lot of money.

Little wonder that you hate Brexit, your fortunes have gone for a burton since Brexit was voted for in 2016.

Blame Neil Woodford and your own failures for 90% losses to your portfolio. It must hurt when you look at Capita's Friday close at 33p a drop from your investment of 98%, you have my sympathy.

"Same as paying for a phone line just to get broadband and we never use a landline!"

ROFLMAO!

Yes, you do use the landline for broadband unless you have Fibre To The Premises (FTTP).

All companies will need you to have a landline of some description it just depends on whether you see the explicit charge in their bill.

Alphorn, only surprised its that high at -1%.

Never would have thought we ever would see a British prime minister getting more protection from the media than Ronald Reagan.

Anyone know if it is possible to get broadband without having to pay a landline?

bb - don't worry about that; you are not the only one 'diminishing'.

- Boris Johnson’s approval rating is now at -1%. It was at +19% four days ago.
- Overall government approval is now at -2%, dropping 16 points in a day.

Probably courtesy of negativehedge.com Lol

Agree with Jacko.

£13 a month tax just to watch BBC is theft. If you wanted to say no thankyou you can't. Same as paying for a phone line just to get broadband and we never use a landline! So there's another £18 a month for nothing.

Eighty bikes that were locked and secured have been stolen from Derby city centre in just eight weeks.

The thieves have been using bolt cutters to take off the locks before fleeing.

Now, a senior police officer is urging cyclists to attend events where bikes can be marked with a unique code, which is linked to the owner's details on a secure database.

If the bike is then stolen and later found, police can use this code to ensure the bike is returned.

M2..Didn't you once post that you were educated at Pontypridd Polytecnic. I seem to remember you had a long tussle with a few other posters who questioned your educational background.

Not that I am saying you were or weren't, nothing wrong with Polytecnics.

Absolutely right. I wasn't taught anything at Pontypridd Technical College because I never attended.

Multi-millionaire Jacko (🤥) is fed-up paying his £157 a year BBC licence fee.
--------------------------------------------------------------

You are so dense you cannot see that £157.00 a year means nothing to me, but it a hell of a lot to millions of working class people.

They didn't teach you much in Pontypridd Tech college they!
