I agree about the commonwealth conscripts 100%. The yanks though, came in later and brought much needed forces and machines and of course money.

I would never forget the Commonwealth help at all. We needed all the help we could get and we got it in spades.

As for your summation of Blair you are spot on.

Bloody doctors!!!

If you go into hospital with C19 they will give you an antibiotic that will kill the bacteria in the gut, GOOD and BAD. So the body has no good bacteria to fight the bad stuff, ergo you may die.
I had a yearly check-up in Feb. the nurse took my B/Pressure as usual and it was unusually high for me. I am mostly well below 120/80. So I said jokingly it's 'white coat syndrome'. So 5 weeks later the Doctor phoned me and offered me REMDISEVA tablets
because my B/P was too high. I said O.K. just to please him and got to work testing my own B/P as I have two machines. My B/P @ 6pm today was 107/77 and the other monitor was 108/68..... No way am I taking these new pills.

Have you noticed the 'rigged' background when we see the 'experts' on tv talking from home?

And have you noticed Dan Roan, the bbc sports editor ALWAYS stands at an angle to the camera, and has his hands clasped!!

And, why do questioned guests being interviewed always start with the word, so!!!

And, how clever the TV people are at synchronizing adverts to be on ALL channels at the same time, bloody annoying.

Blair was in charge when the Eastern EU bloc joined the EU...

So Blair's administration maxed out the Nation's credit card, leading to years of austerity..

No it didn't... US only got involved because the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbour. It was the millions of commonwealth conscripts who helped.
