I am sure all of us want to wish Boris and Carrie the best on expecting a child and getting married. Boris will be putting him down for Eton and Oxford, or if it's a girl, Rodean and Oxford. no Erasmus schemes or Polytechs for Boris and Carrie's sprogs.

I am sure that I can include Minnie, bargain bob, Ace EU, LADESIDE and Alps in wishing them all the best!!

Also, all the best to Priti Patel on heading up the 'clear out and cleansing' of our EU loving Civil Service.

My Dad is 80 later this month and in better health than me. There will be
significant variables on an individual level. However, on average immune
function declines with age. We tend to develop chronic conditions and age
related illnesses - in very general terms.

Love the Welsh cracking Nation. Also love the Scots particularly since I found out they're responsible for leave winning the Brexit vote.
Overall turnout in the UK was up 8% for the referendum but it actually went DOWN on Scotland meaning that if the lazy Scots could only have been encouraged to get off their sizable backsides and turnout on par with the rest of the UK remain would have won.
Tbf, judging by the SNP's levels of attainment on the education front I wouldn't be surprised if huge swathes of the Scottish electoate didn't understand the question on the ballot paper.

Pierre/Utricky

Reality is that my degree at polytechnic was set by the same governing body as that which set the degree standards for Pierre's university. But don't let facts get in the way of a good old folk tale.

It is also warming to think that my exams and work were independently adjudicated whereas Pierre's were done 'in house'. At least I know my degree was awarded without a conflict of interest. Pity Pierre cannot say the same thing.

Go on Priti, pray tell, what was worth creating the situation that a senior civil servant, with 33 years experience, felt the need to resign? How are you going to replace that experience or are you just going to fill it with kids and snowflakes?

Was it because you now have to pass the lie you sold to the electorate past the civil service? I guess it takes some doing when all the facts and evidence suggest to the contrary.

I think the gentleman deserves some respect from some of the posters here. After all, he has served our country for 33 years. What have you done?

jacko - "I watched Phillip Rutman's spiteful filled swansong speech with amazement, he was like an old limp wristed 'Nancy Boy' screaming he had been wronged by this female modern day Cruella De-vil."

Went through the usual thoughts hear, about the rights and wrongs of his departure - and came to the same conclusion as yourself.

Anyone who ever watched "Yes Minister" would understand how his style would rub up against that of PP.

max - I am now half way to the car you kindly posted since the December election. The false euphoria that I posted hit the mark. There will be IMO a blip in 2 weeks but not tempted to buy yet. Any short positions will close for the gains. GBP may still sink further and buy the other half. Who knows. ;)

Enough of investments and back to antagonising the natives. Lol

I watched Phillip Rutman's spiteful filled swansong speech with amazement, he was like an old limp wristed 'Nancy Boy' screaming he had been wronged by this female modern day Cruella De-vil.

What have we descended in to, senior Civil Servants whining and crying to the public. I say bloody good riddance to him and don't stop there, start major culling and get rid of all of those Civil Servants who promoted remain because they were more worried about their 'gold plated' pensions and their 'Euro protected' jobs for the boys. Rutman one of that band of Bercow benders who spouted, 'how dare you put our futures in peril', you oiks!!

Go on Priti Patel, far from resigning or being forced out, fair play to you for sporting more balls than any of those damp eyed Remoaners spoiled at taking their big cheques from the EU.

Go girl, you have most of the country behind you.

Inertia Alert!
Priti Patel is to be praised for taking on the languid attitude of Civil Servants in the sleepy corridors of Whitehall in order to get things done. The party's over Sir Philip, HOL beacons if you behave!
Remember Bercow?

The increased 'proof' so that gunpowder could still be used in those far back days may not be known to all posters.
