29/2/2020 16:07 | The only thing they know centuries is to run.. never try to change their way of thinking, life style or government system. Over the centuries they have learn to be controlled by clever individuals.. These people are living in a different world to us. They will take advantage of our system but.. unless you downgrade your standards (they will not) and meet their demands you will find yourself in a corner try to protect your lifestyle. Some of us who welcome them they are ignorant and naive Or using them for personal gains. | k38
29/2/2020 16:05 | This sounds a bit scary In a statement issued via the Free Nazanin Campaign, Zaghari-Ratcliffe said: “I am not good. I feel very bad in fact. It is a strange cold. Not like usual. I know the kinds of cold I normally have, how my body reacts. This is different. I am just as bad as I was. I often get better after three days. But with this there is no improvement. I haven’t got one bit better. “It has been a sore throat for days now. Really bad. It is now more than five days – with a severe sore throat that is not going away. “At the beginning I had a runny nose and a cough. Now I have this continual cold sweat I have a temperature, though not all the time. The past couple of days I have been shivering every night. The past couple of days I have had nausea – feeling like I am about to vomit, though I do not. “I have difficulty breathing and pain in my muscles, and fatigue. I do not pant, but I am finding it hard to breathe. And I am just very, very tired. I have a real tiredness, and a heavy head. I am too tired to do anything. “For a long time this has not felt like a normal cold. These symptoms have lasted almost a week. I know I need to get medicine to get better. This does not go magically.” | scruff1
29/2/2020 15:43 | I'd be ecstatic if they did train to be care workers. The ones I come into contact with are those fighting for big issue pitches outside Tescos, which on occasion has reminded me of the poor unfortunate disfigured/ disabled beggars fighting amongst each other for alms pitches outside the Vatican. The only difference is these big issue sellers drive to Tesco's in new cars! | utrickytrees
29/2/2020 15:43 | Andrew Neil has predicted a no deal Brexit for the UK as he warns of a "huge bust up" between the UK and EU in the coming weeks. In a tweet this morning, Andrew claimed a "huge bust-up " will soon be on the cards between the two over their differing negotiating objectives. Brussels is also set for a showdown today as European Council President Charles Michel attempts to finalise the EU's budget today. Speaking at a summit in Brussels, Mr Michel will attempt to convince EU leaders into covering the estimated £62billion hole in the budget following the UK's departure. a huge bust up? "War" by other names. | mr.elbee

29/2/2020 15:09 | "We should welcome these migrants with open arms, we need farm workers, hospital staff and all those jobs that our lazy lot won't take" Hope you aren't being serious because only an idiot would call for such. Have you seen the countries they're coming from? | crossing_the_rubicon
29/2/2020 15:07 | 'Turkey says thousands of migrants have crossed to EU' We should welcome these migrants with open arms, we need farm workers, hospital staff and all those jobs that our lazy lot won't take. A few more 'gangs of robbers and mugger' to challenge the existing groups would give some balance to the current mix. | mikemichael2

29/2/2020 14:49 | Once upon a time when the uniformed CS hierarchy wore Bowler hats, carry sandwiches in a briefcase & swung James Smith umbrellas, one gent on my street would wake me up weekdays at 7:22 am precisely by stepping on a noisy loose flagstone below my bedroom window. These diehards are creatures of habit, reliable, tried & true, but never experimentive. They have much in common with manual workers in ganseys, togs & gumboots, wearing flatcaps, carrying tupperware lunchboxes, answer to "Oi" and mutter to any instruction! | gotnorolex
29/2/2020 14:28 | Apportionment of responsibility of the EU for Brexit. Merkel has been banging in about reforms, As has Macron but cant even get reforms in France. The nett contributors recognise the need for change but none will ever materialise because of the constitution. We are where we are because of Europe's failure to evolve & reform yet all you do is undermine the UK for daring to challenge Europe. Your position is passive & weak. | utrickytrees
29/2/2020 14:27 | 1NHS Get you point but you do have to be careful with stats. Not underestimating the seriousness but China is about 4 m sq miles. S. Korea about 40k sq miles. China 39,300 have recovered 2,835 have died. S. Korea 24 have rcovered 17 have died. Not sure if any of this is unequivocal evidenc of China lying. 10 or 50 or 100 or 1000. Big difference here to be unequivocal Interesting facts. On a normal day there is one death every 3 secs in China, 1 net migrant every 2 mins (though probably not this week) | scruff1
29/2/2020 14:00 | Why should the EU care about the success of Brexit? They are just there now to protect themselves, and rightly so. There should be no charity to the Little Englanders from either the EU or from Remainers. | minerve 2

29/2/2020 12:05 | Min Civil servants on the coal face must advise on how best to implement changes in strategy! Arguing just for the sake of it has to stop! We are going it alone now without 27 nations to keep happy, with stitched up quotas and price fixing they call a level playing field. Granted we cannot build a 1000 bed hospital in a fortnight or a four runway terminal that can handle 100m passengers pa. but we have to compete with extremely disciplined non democratic, highly productive countries that steal our lunch! We are a rich country because of past glories and a mature infrastructure, all of which are at risk if we procrastinate over no brainers like transport, nuclear energy etc. | gotnorolex
29/2/2020 11:59 | Utricky Nothing comes from guttersnipe like you that deserves respect. Try putting an educated and civilised comment together backed by decent rationale and facts and that may change. I doubt you can though, you haven't got the wherewithal. | minerve 2
29/2/2020 11:57 | Churchill Cromwell ROFLMAO! I see the brainwashing is still working. ;) | minerve 2 |
