Thing is, Max, we're no longer even shocked by this sort of thing. And really, £7 for a carton of cigarettes is small beer compared to the other thieving that goes on.

Be careful delboy45, bargain bob will be along to report you to the police!

But seriously, you shouldn't hold a grudge against the BBC, 'Only fools and Horses' is far to anti PC to put on the BBC in 2020, but you can watch it on Freeview..

I haven't bought a TV licence for 5 years, they write me letters every other week threatening me, they have sent Capita agents knocking on my door, but I am never going to buy a TV licence. I will not allow access to my house, I do not watch BBC and just ask them to leave as I film them on my phone, they always leave my front door without argument, they do not like being filmed.

I expect some people think I should pay, but I do not watch BBC, I watch other stations on my computer screen, the BBC are outdated, by all means let it carry on independent of forcing people to buy a licence.

Boris has a nice present for them soon.

grahamite, the guy who fitted the boiler works from his garage at home, he has been going since 2014 when he became registered. His overhead is his van, I guess he would have made £250 after paying his younger assistant a £100, I consider that pretty good, after all, if he hadn't of done the job, he would have had his van sitting outside his garage and he would have earned diddly squat. I recommended him to two others who had boilers fitted, so there is a moral to doing jobs at a fair price. Greed is bad!

This young guy will do well, unlike the bloke who wanted £200 to tidy up a garden. When the next recession comes along, the ones who go to the wall will be the ones who never had any acumen to start with.

Those people who say I wouldn't get out of bed for that sort of money, often end up not getting out of bed at all.

corby - he did know the facts, he just couldn't be bothered to read your post properly!

I think you'd get a more realistic rate for a gardener if you had 2 or 3 hours work for him each and every week. For a one off it's bound to be a bit more.

As to your Corgi chap, if he's charging £350 for 18 hours labour he's going to run into trouble, considering he must cover his overheads.

Encouraging the black market corby ? Great cash in hand expoliting the young guy and the tax payer.
Hope you have no issues gas boiler installation is not without risk .

bargain bob..ha ha, I didn't have the chance to encourage the black market Saint Bob! I was unlucky with the guy who wasn't interested in the garden tidy, no money for him or the chancellor.

The heating engineer provided me with an invoice and guarantees his work, he is an honest man who by the way I have recommended to a couple of others who used his services.

Don't jump to making snide remarks before you know the facts.

Like any other business... unless your name is Jeremy Corbyn. She own the business, she pays salaries and her taxes according to the law, what do you expect to share with you?M2:"Since the start of last season, bookmaker Bet365 has had rights to show FA Cup ties on its website and app.And she pays herself over £300 million for being in the right place at the right time and free-to-air matches.."

Bob..my business is property and investment, my days in the Motor Trade were a long time ago although I have an extended family with deep roots in new car Dealerships including used cars. I reached millionaire status in the 70's when the UK inflation was 20% and I was shrewd enough to use my profits to buy property.

I don't brag or boast, but I could buy and sell 'braggarts' like Minerve all day long. I doubt if Minerve is worth very much, a couple of million???maybe, where as my property portfolio is multi millions before counting commercial property, shares are a hobby, just like rattling Minnie's and your cages!

I choose to live here in the UK on my Farm, I choose to pay my taxes and support this great country and it's great people. I feel sorry for the 'hate brigade' they are few and far between although there are a couple of bragging losers on here!!

ROFLMAO
