Lisa Nandy is Labour's Jo Swinson! Well intentioned but ineffective and uninspiring!
Jess Phillips will be best at the dispatch box! Imaging the Wiff Waff with Boris, pure entertainment!

5xy; To add to what you say:---

A greenhouse gas (sometimes abbreviated GHG) is a gas that absorbs and emits radiant energy within the thermal infrared range. Greenhouse gases cause the greenhouse effect.[1] The primary greenhouse gases in Earth's atmosphere are water vapor (H2O), carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), and ozone (O3). Without greenhouse gases, the average temperature of Earth's surface would be about −18 °C (0 °F),[2] rather than the present average of 15 °C (59 °F).[3][4][5] The atmospheres of Venus, Mars and Titan also contain greenhouse gases.

CO2 is the food of life.

If we want to cut down on CO2, stop cutting down all the bloody trees!!!!

Oh but we need to cut down trees to make way for 5G - so as to better control an ever burgeoning populace who dont want to be told what to do/how to live.

What is One Nation Conservatism?
We've been hearing the phrase a lot and we can guarantee it's not going anywhere... so what exactly is One Nation Conservatism?

Well, the term has long been ascribed to Benjamin Disraeli, the author, Conservative politician and statesman who served as prime minister twice in the 1860s and 1870s.

Before he became an MP, he wrote that the Tory Party “unless it is a national party, is nothing”.

In his novel Sybil, or The Two Nations - published in 1845 - he suggested that the rich and poor were as “ignorant of each other’s habits, thoughts and feelings as if they were dwellers in different zones or inhabitants of different planets”.

Many Conservative leaders have used the phrase since then but often interpreted it in different ways, whether it is improving the condition of the working class or defending the United Kingdom.

In the 1950s and 1960s, it was associated with a paternalistic support for the welfare state and public housing, and in the 1980s with a more economically liberal message of home and share ownership and social mobility through individual enterprise.

Earlier this year, a group of Tory MPs launched a One Nation caucus, saying their aim was to heal Brexit divisions, but also to fight injustice, champion community and increase opportunity.

Like the Phoenix, a bit of a Myth.

Carbon dioxide is NOT a dirty gas actually. Without it we would die. It is necessary for plants to grow and supply food. Photosynthesis.

We are all grass and come from wonderful carbon dioxide.

"Them" as in the EU elites that run the whole show.

By this method, the individual nations's economies, especially the Germans/French,will be severely impacted such that they will force change on EU policy.

What Germany says, goes.

P.S I thought you had me filtered?

I can't believe Labour blame the media for losing the election when we all know how much support they give to them especially the BBC for the last three years.

You might be surprised but I don't blame the EU for all that's wrong with this country. There are issues like the EU army that Clegg(remember him) laughed off and said was a load of rubbish among many other things.

I think in the short term not a lot will change but moving forward I'm hoping it has a massive positive impact for us.

I do know that if I owned a business and my best customer walked in I wouldn't start laying down the law to them and treating them very poorly which is what I feel the EU has done. There's been no compromise imho only coercive control.

That's me for a while I'll let you get back to it.

So Cummings is not totally mad.

"PM's maverick aide Dominic Cummings 'will overhaul wasteful Ministry of Defence spending' after branding £6.2billion aircraft carrier project 'a farce'".

That will disappoint many here who felt that the expenditure on this enormous floating target was wonderful. Lol

Freddie - YOUR opinion would be a good start. Too many posts here that are on auto rewind.
Jacko, for example, makes some very interesting projections within his other comments. Accurate they have been too (thank you for ITV).
fwiw I have enacted some of my views (note max). Taken some UK domestic gains and opened a few bearish positions at higher strikes; I don't mind leaving some gains for others.
The premium quotes are very wide indicating uncertainty as to where the market goes from here.

I hope all of this positiveness in the market is not short lived. But it certainly shows how the shadow of the loony left has been more detrimental than Brexit. It will be interesting to see if sentiment holds. The one thing that the UK may well become is a lot more nimble, the EU may end up being ham-stringed by itself and the money seeing the UK as a better proposition. It's a big gamble as once it starts to go one way or another it will be self fulfilling. Happy for the uk to be going alone for the time being.

Freddie, you make an interesting point. In any of my conversations with Germans about Brexit, they cannot get their minds around voting for something whos destination is unclear. To which I ask them what they expect the destination of the EU to be - a question they, similarly, are unsure how to answer.

But it’s not equal and opposite, for they also have issues with their membership of the EU. And when I point out that they have done nothing concrete to address them, and that it took the Brits to initiate some form of mini-revolution AND NOT BE THREATENED INTO A RERUN OF THE VOTE, they cannot conceive how I could think in this way.

But that’s why I voted out - no effective long term checks and balances. The national governments appear increasingly subservient to the barely-elected Brussels elite. It’s a great job if you can get it, so unsurprising the bureaucracy perpetually moves to reinforce itself.

By the way, the City (finance industry) elite are far worse than the Germans (who were perfectly decent, just so process-focused). Not even close.

Alphorn you keep posting that you want forensic detail from us leavers but we're not like remainers shouting doom and gloom 24 hours a day. Still waiting for the massive job losses and firms moving to the EU.

We believe over time we'll be more prosperous by coming out.Boris has a majority now so won't be so easily walked over from now on.

Without being privy to all that's going within the Government I think it would be foolish to start making wild claims.

I respect your opinion even if I don't agree with it.
