27/3/2019 15:02 | HoC: Division Bell, At first looks there may be a lot of 'missing' MPs (Abstainers?). edit: They have all come quickly "out of the woodwork" | bbalanjones
27/3/2019 15:02 | xxxxy - unfortunately Nigel's new party isn't putting up a candidate at Newport West. There's only UKIP which (a) has been compromised by its new leader, and (b) is offering Neil Hamilton, arguably not the strongest candidate in the world! | grahamite2
27/3/2019 14:58 | Poika - your posts sometimes remind me of the quite sad events when the Unions took on European Ferries, or whoever it was at that time. The early months there was a very active picket line at Dover and so it went on for a very long time. Then it hit bad weather and the winter - there was still a picket line around lit braziers. So it continued and continued until there was almost nobody on the line. In the end the changes took place and I believe it bankrupted the Union. A sad story for something that could have been handled differently. I hope that this (Exit) outcome will satisfy the country; not some small group of extremists. (edit: were you one of the pickets as you worked on boats I believe)? | alphorn
27/3/2019 14:58 | bbalanjones 27 Mar '19 - 14:11 - 252660 of 252681 Safety is a supreme consideration. I thought I addressed that when I said the new limiters would be positively dangerous! | grahamite2
27/3/2019 14:58 | k38: The partial retort is that 1. it is the UNITED states of America. 2. France and Germany favour "Closer Union". Economic/Political ; Power is Power. | bbalanjones
27/3/2019 14:54 | Poikka: You will no doubt share great affinity with the Polish Pomeranian Cavalry who were part of the opening battle of WW2 - sadly they came up eventually against tanks. That they were brave men is not in question. | bbalanjones

27/3/2019 14:44 | "Leave and become one of the world's leaders" ……… Is that what you meant? ;)) | alphorn
27/3/2019 14:41 | Well, let's see were we stand right now. 1) First TMs WA still standing. 2) Extension is for talks (arguing) between our MPs (God help us)3) Brussels will not reopen the agreement. 4) Any decision from our MPs would make no difference to the WA.Summary..Stay, we will be a colony to Germany. Leave and become one of the world's leaders | k38
27/3/2019 14:35 | HoC; JR-M to his feet: Procedural diatribe . . . . sit down lad. (Ed Vaizey to the rescue with a little humour) JR-M tries to invoke (in his opinion) that this debate is agaist HM The Queen herself. FOOL. The man is arguing from his own rear sadly. He misses entirely the parody of his voting record on this issue. | bbalanjones

27/3/2019 14:24 | k38; the 'will of the 'People' in 1975 was otherwise. Just a whim of the past. Who knows what the future will hold? | bbalanjones
