Alp,

A couple of minutes ago, Norman Smith said that TM is "inching closer", but "will just fall short still". You have to be careful with the BBC - in voting situations, they love to make it look closer than it really is.....GL

Just to please x5:

John Redwood says his constituents do not want the withdrawal deal. At best around a quarter of the public is in favour, he says. He says it would require legislation that would, in practice, keep the UK in the EU for several years. The EU would be able to decide new laws for the UK during that period, and the UK would have to accept.
He also says the UK would be committing to open-ended payments to the EU.

Before 2016, I promised to cause an earthquake in British politics. This time, I will attempt a revolution. It will be democratic and peaceful.

We, well informed brexiteers, argue for democracy.Remainers argue against democracy and their only defence is the BBC scaremongering.

Accrued another 175k shares, now got 100's of k's ready for 2019/20 accounts. Now also holding over 800k tcg shares, wanting to get early retirement. Downside is need to use a pro investment co for most, which costs, but also have 3 other accounts on ii. Brexit has been an advantage : -)

Alphorn, that's not hard to do when you see young women on their shopping trips to the supermarkets in Volvo XC60's etc etc and then park them up for the rest of the day.

This is Hard-Brexit through the back door. The moderates would be foolish to back it.

Yep, another day and the same old debates going on in the HofC.

It is rather like driving a car, unbolting the steering wheel and the occupants arguing whether to turn left or right at the next fork, just before a wall.

It may pass at the last minute, but am still skewed to the downside if not. Profitable 24hrs but will give it all back (and bit more?) if the vote passes today.

Just shows how democratic you Brextremists are (17.4 million want democracy) when you are quite prepared to let seventy million people be held over a barrel by a dozen or so in Wetsminster with a leader who is not even present, nor can be - MADNESS
