Europe's problems are only seen by Brexiteers.

Markets across Europe are a sea of red after those weaker-than-expected PMI surveys served as a stark reminder of the challenges facing the eurozone economy: Factory output also fell in March, with the manufacturing PMI headline index at a three-month low of 49.8 - down from 51.5 in February.

Midget Macron full of scorn for Britain should start looking nearer home.

At the end of the first quarter, the French private sector was unable to continue the recovery seen in February, as both the manufacturing and service sectors registered contractions in business activity.

Worryingly, new orders continued to tumble amid a slowdown in demand and downward momentum in new export business. New work from abroad fell at the fastest pace for nearly three years, with a broad- based decline across both sectors.

Sterling recovering a bit this morning. Tempted to take gains but will leave.
One of my rarish agreements with Jacko was his post moons ago that GBP will post a sharp recovery on a deal being approved by the HofC. That could be next week and would also give Lloyds a boost.
(Remain bullish Lloyds at current levels).

Thinks! The whole of the "Leave campaign" was based on a twisted idea of EU "unfairness', told tall tales by the dozen and reaffirmed the prejudices of 40 odd years of fake news output. Appalling precedent - er not so sure there gov.

NB. re art 50 petition
A Commons spokesman said signature patterns are investigated to check for fraudulent activity and suspect signatures are removed, including those that are "clearly bots".

He added: "Anyone who is a UK resident or a British citizen can sign a petition. This includes British citizens living overseas."

I note not a peep from any of the thread extremists about TM's request being blocked by Italy or whoever being a cert. No surprise"

What's extremist about wanting a democratic vote upheld exactly? This is why Leavers detest scum like you who peddle this lie.

Wanting to exit the EU isnt extremist. Wanting a Brexit that means leaving the Single mkt,the CU and ending ECJ supremacy isnt extremist. It's what we voted for.

As an aside which TM request being blocked by Italy?
Wasnt aware of the details hence not commented.

YOU ARE THE FOOL!

What type of person uses Betfair?

Is it likely to be a busy professional male/female with a family?

Or is it likely to be a low-income person/poorly educated person with time on their hands, a tradesperson with a mobile phone, or a pensioner fancying a bit of a flutter?

I know the answer to that one, obviously you don't have the depth of thought to think about these things.

Ever wonder why there are loads of betting adverts around live football matches? What demographic is likely to watch football mainly?

COME ON, DROP BANANA, ENGAGE BRAIN!

Funny how the petition now has no weight when before it meant everything when they - Brexit chimps - were signing it.

Shows what a defunct bunch they are.

You are an idiot.

Betfair will only reflect the views of a stereotypical person who bets.

It's like asking chimps what they think about bananas.

Redwood fails to grasp the fact that the EU.are giving parliament the opportunity to take control from Theresa May."

And you fail to realise what the outcome will be if Parliament gets it away and cancels Brexit/softens it even further(not sur how that is possible given May's WA)
clouded as you are by your own B.A.D

Overturnign demcoracy wont be without consequence.

And it will set an appaling precedent in UK and globally.

Think carefully before you countenance a policy solely to get your own way

Someone on the Glaxo thread has posted some Betfair odds. This makes some sense - the serious money is always more likely to know which way the wind is really blowing than overworked journalists. So here goes:

Article 50 to be revoked: 4.3
No deal: 19
Article 50 extended: 1.02
Second referendum: 3.75
Second vote of no confidence: 1.29
Deal passed 3rd time round: 3.4
Brexit date: April 2019 to June 2019 2.2 (next shortest odds "not before 2022" 3.85 and July 2019 to December 2019 8.2)

For those who don't use Betfair, the figures include your stake back. So "article 50 extended" at 1.02 means 50:1 on, "article 50 revoked" at 4.3 means 10:3 etc.

These figures are clearly not compatible so even the money doesn't know what the hell's going on!

"Cancel Brexit - 2,451,828 Signatures from North Korea, Russia, Afghanistan, Vatican City and countries that don't even exist. It proves nothing whatever except that the remoaniacs are running scared."

It was viewed a little differently when it was a petition for Brexiters wasn't it!

WE KNOW FOR SURE THEY WERE ALL FROM BARNSLEY!

ROFLMAO!

This is why Leavers are chimps; they argue and reason like little children.

You must be a British citizen or a UK resident to create or sign a petition.

So I guess that includes children? Ah well, 60 million to go.
