Technically superb last night, I'll take a 1 nil at a canter all day long in tournament football. Very mature performance I can't imagine the resolve it took to conserve energy levels & not blast the Serbs off with a more emphatic performance, We will hammer Denmark 1 nil unall.

I didn't realise Harry Kane was even playing last night until the second half when he forced the Serbia goalkeeper into a good save from a header pushing the ball against the crossbar! Denmark will be a far harder game on Thursday.

ADVFN seem to be oblivious to this so on Friday I contacted ADVFN Support to bring it to their attention and asked if they could do something about it. As yet I have not even received a reply acknowledging my email!

RUSSIAN ARMY STRUCK 43 UKRAINIAN TARGETS WITH LANCET LOITERING MUNITIONS PAST WEEK (VIDEOS)

Support SouthFront

The Russian military damaged or destroyed 43 pieces of equipment of Kiev forces using Lancet loitering munitions during the past week.

The Ukrainian losses between June 9 and 15, all documented in video by Lostarmour.info, were:

Eight Self-propelled howitzers, including two Polish-made Krab, one German-made Panzerhaubitze 2000 and one American-made M109;

12 Towed howitzers, including three American-made M777;

Two multiple rocket launchers, including a Soviet-mae BM-21 Grad and a Ukrainian-made Vilkha;

Three Main battle tanks;

One infantry fighting vehicle;

One air defense systems, a Soviet-made Buk-M1;

One self-propelled anti-aircraft gun, a German-made Gepard 1A2;

Six electronic warfare system, including three Ukrainian-made Nota, one Bukovel-AD and one Plastun-RP3000;

Four radars, including two American-made AN/TPQ-36, one AN/TPQ-50 and one Soviet-made P-18ML;

One drone control and command vehicle;

Three trucks and other military vehicles, including an American-made FMTV M1083A1P2;
One warplane, a Soviet-made Su-25.

The Lancet was developed by the ZALA Aero Group, a subsidiary of Russia’s defense giant Kalashnikov Concern. The company produces two versions of the loitering munition, the Izdeliye-52 with an endurance of 30 minutes and a one-kilogram warhead and the larger Izdeliye-51 that has an endurance of 40 minutes and is armed with a warhead weighting three kilograms.

The loitering munition flies towards the designated area with a GLONASS-aided inertial navigation system. After arriving in the area, the operator utilizes an onboard electro-optical system via a two-way data-link to detect, track and lock on the target. A laser-ranging system then controls the detonation of the warhead.

Ukrainian attempts to stop Lancet loitering munitions with air defense fire, electronic warfare or countermeasures have so far been mostly unsuccessful.

Lostarmour.info documented a record 302 Lancet strikes during May. The number of documented strikes this month has already reached 100. It’s worth noting that many strikes remain classified, which means the real number of strikes could be much higher.

It's obvious ADVFN is not going to sort this out but a quick look across the boards shows how many threads this idiot is hitting.

He won't have enough time in the day to keep this level of posting up and if he does the ADVFN brand will get trashed.

ISRAELI ARMY ADMITS 11 SOLDIERS WERE KILLED IN GAZA (VIDEOS)

Support SouthFront

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has acknowledged the death of 11 troops as a result of attacks in the Gaza Strip in less than 24 hours.

On June 15, the IDF said that eight troops from the Combat Engineering Corps’ 601st Battalion were killed in an attack claimed by the Hamas Movement in the southern Gaza area of Rafah. According to an initial IDF probe the troops were killed inside a Namer armored combat engineering vehicle that came under attack by an explosive device or an anti-tank missile. There were no survivors.

Separately on the same day, the IDF said that a soldier seriously wounded earlier in the week in Rafah succumbed to his wounds.

The soldier, who was serving in the Givati Brigade’s reconnaissance unit, was wounded in a blast in a booby-trapped building on June 10, in an incident that killed four other soldiers and wounded six, including four seriously.

And on June 16, the IDF said that two reservists from the 8th Reserve Armored Brigade’s 129th Battalion were killed when their tank came under attack in northern Gaza over the weekend.

The two were killed by an explosive device detonated against their tank, an initial probe found. Two other soldiers in the tank were seriously wounded by the blast, according to the IDF.

These deaths brought the toll of slain Israeli troops in ground operations in Gaza and along its border to 311. The toll includes a police officer killed in a hostage rescue mission. A civilian Defense Ministry contractor was also killed in the Strip.

More than 1,900 others have been wounded in Gaza during the same period. Some are reportedly still in a critical condition.

Hamas’ military wing, the Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades, which was responsible for most recent Israeli casualties, released on June 15 videos showing its fighters clashing with Israeli troops in Rafah and shelling IDF gatherings in the occupied Netzarim Corridor in central Gaza, which splits the Strip in half.

On the Palestinian side, the death toll from the Israeli war reached 37,296 with more than 85,197 others wounded, according to the latest statement by the Hamas-run health ministry in Gaza. Women and children make up most of the casualties.

Faced with military failure and increasing international pressure, the IDF announced on June 16 that it will carry out a daily “tactical pause of military activity” in southern Gaza to enable humanitarian aid to be delivered to Palestinians.

The IDF said that the pause will take place between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. local time every day along a road that leads from the Kerem Shalom Crossing to the Salah a-Din road, and then northward toward the Khan Younis area.

“This is an additional step in the humanitarian aid efforts that have been conducted by the IDF and COGAT since the beginning of the war,” the IDF added, noting that the move began a day earlier.

The pause could be an indication that Israel is willing to deal with the peace talks more seriously, especially that it came amid renewed efforts to reach a lasting ceasefire in Gaza.

Lloy gets about £2bn a year in interest on assets it holds with the BoE. Reform wants to stop that - should sell banks if you think they will win influence.

I don't think Labour are going to do quite as well as they think they are, there's quite a silent majority out there who are backing Reform. Polls are rarely accurate as evidenced by Brexit. The Tories however, are goosed.
