UK quickest off the mark in getting vaccines approved and ordered. EU doesn't like it but that's what happens if you create a bureaucracy where wheels turn slowly and agreement of 27 members needed.

Clear example, if one were still needed, of why we're best out of EU. UK will prosper now with Boris seizing the opportunities for business and wealth creation while the EU is in disarray. Just need to stay safe everyone till we have herd immunity.

The UK should offer an alternative version of Europe to those other countries sick of subsidising the biggest ego trip in all history. A genuine free trade deal should do for a start.

Stephen CURRIE26 Jan 2021 11:23AMThe credibility of the EU sinks by the day. To summarise their position it is 'we were abysmally slow in planning and executing vaccine purchases and we are at the back of the line trying to catch up desperately looking for excuses to avoid being seen as the idiots we are' . Well, they have now failed at that also.
