Minnie, while you can try to assess cox's scientific abilities (although obiously you have zero basis to make such an assessment apart from thinking he's good looking and you wouldn't mind shagging him/makes good records/talks about planets and stars) you don't have much basis to asses my abilities or lack of. So such an assertion as to relative abilites is the type of stuff the intellectually deprived make not realising it can't logically be made. Like wise 'probably just a technician'. Remember, idiots think they know things they don't.

Some very valid points made here....

Can't begin to imagine Minerves house if it ever gets to the point where the EU ambassador gets that promotion and all the likes of Germany,France, Spain , Italy are told their ambassadors no longer hold any sway - time to pack up and leave...

Brexit: the EU Ambassador to the UK is not happy! (4k)

The Buffoon is leading a CV-19 news conference at 5.00pm.

Right on time, the BBC is making a big song and dance of the police breaking up a 400-person wedding party being held in a school hall last night, in Stamford Hill, London. Looks like it was Jewish. Fines were sprayed around, up to £10,000 a time. Most of the guests fled before the police could hold them!

Shocking, of course, and you can bet he will milk it for all it's worth.

Which goes to show Pierre that we shouldn't be making 11 plus type discriminations with respect to university loans.

Cox is great for popularing science. You sound jealous.

Tlaking of flunking a levels, the grade d maths brian cox got didn't do him much harm, A few years earlier he wouldn't have stood a chance of getting in to uni - even manchester - for physics with a d.

He was right when he sang 'things can only get better' after he flunked his maths.

Pierre

I'm not the one lambasting the benefit claimants. Utricky and Scruff are.

Do read and follow the argument properly.

Maxk , i doubt stopping loans and uni from those who flunk their a levels will have much effect.

Flunking isn't allowed anymore. You get an a if you flunk.

Nissan still have to compete with other manufacturers. Perhaps they are hoping The Monopoly Guy has some money for them. :)

The UK will struggle to maintain supply chains in the auto industry. That is a fact.
